Strategy is wrong for SL pre-patch. At the end, when your Hermit Crab comes in, a single Pinch won't cut it. Your crab is dead after that pinch. You need to Bubble instead, then get in 2 pinches, bring your Mongoose back in, and then a single attack will finish it off. (edited)

This worked for me in 9.0 but when the Hermit Crab came in at the end I needed to Bubble, Pinch, Pinch, Gnaw to get the kill

This works nice for now (SL they are gimping hermit crab. I didnt have a S/P mongoose type. So got an Eternal Strider and just Water Jet Pass WaterJet and did the same thing

I subbed in a P/S mongoose for my 3rd pet and it worked great didn't even need that last Hermit Crab pinch.

This strat did not work for me with the prescribed pets so I decided to use the second alt strat. Went to Naj, got a second S/S Chitterspine and annihilated Shadeflicker. Use strat 2, save yourself the headaches.

Not sure what all the hate is on this strat. Worked fine for me on the 2nd try, which was far more effective than any other strat I could find that didn't require the gulp frog. Thanks for the help on this!

Strat states that Golden Civet needs to be faster than 328, but blue SS is only 325. Not sure if this was a mistake, or if I'm missing something, but I couldn't get this to work.
