I think a slight improvement would be to pass on round 2, then swap to the rabbit in slot 2. Also, I would pass and let that rabbit die after using Dodge and Burrow, then bring in your second rabbit and Dodge straight away. Doing it this way, your second rabbit will be on roughly half health without any crits, until Apocalypse kills it. It avoids the risk of crits killing both your rabbits and having to bring back your roach to take unnecessary damage before Apocalypse lands.

Used a lvl 21 Tol'Vir Scarab, lvl 23 Tolai Hare and lvl 25 rabbit (all blue quality) , it worked like a charm

I only had one Rabbit so I used Nibbles instead to fill in for the missing Rabbit with Consume Magic and Phase Shift. Worked first try. Use Phase Shift during Dodge Phase as mentioned above and Consume Magic instead of Burrow then just Bone Bite until Nibbles dies and continue with Rabbit as mentioned above. Didn't even have to swap back to the Roach.

I used a level 23 and a level 24 bunny and swapped to the roach on the last round so that one of them would get some xp instead of killing it off

Hey! Did your Roach survive during the fight? It sounds like you used it until it was killed, and that would explain this. Apocalypse has a 100% hit and kill chance to the active pets - unless the pet which cast the Apocalypse in the first place is not alive anymore, then it will always miss.

The important part is that your roach needs to be alive when Apocalypse hits. Did it perhaps die before? If the pet that cast Apocalypse dies, the Apocalypse will always miss.
