Hooray! My carrot died at step 4 but Dive at 9–10 still finished off Gloamwing. So at least two RNG permutations work and that's already leaps ahead of all the other strats from before 9.0. Gloamwing's crazy high speed requires some new thought for some families. (edited)

Worked even though I accidentally hit blizzard instead of hat trick on turn 8 -- I was biting my nails but the snowman pulled through by a hair. :)

I had more success completely skipping Call Blizzard and going straight for Magic Hat after Deep Freeze. Could have been luck.

Only works if you swap turns 7-8. Blizzard needs to come first so Deep Freeze will stun.

You may have to restart a few times. RNG and all with this slicing wing that is deadly if he does it 3 times...

Gloamwing is Chilled already from Blistering Cold, so the stun chance is 100%. Still can’t get this to work though. :(

I had the same problem since my tiny twister also had more HP than the crazy carrot. I used Zephyrian Prince, which has the same two required abilities but less HP than crazy carrot. With that substitution, I 1-shot Gloam with this strat.

You can replace Tiny Snowman with Molten Corgi or Terrible Turnip and just use "Puppies of the Flame"/"Sons of the Root" which synergizes nicely with "Forboding Curse".

substitute Tainted Waveling with Corrosion and Healing Wave for Tiny Snowman, use strategy above but with final swap add Corrosion for dot enhancement then heal so Gloamwing takes another round of damage. Should be 1 or 2 shot win.

I managed to get it to work by switching step 8 and 9. Blizzard took too him under so he was slower, deep freeze stun + hat killed it.

The strats needs changing, Tiny Snow needs toss the Magic Hat before the Call of Blizzard; the team already has Scorched Earth applied at this point, no need to overwrite that debuf until next round 8/9.

Just came up with a strategy after going through around 100 bandages and 2 hours of my life. I'm unsure if it works every time as I was constantly tweaking strategies with spells and pet combinations and some how this one worked on the first attempt.

Please note that if Gloamwing crits at ANY time during the fight you will have to start over.

Autumnal Sproutling (S,S) - 1, 2, 1
Amalgam of Destruction (P,P) - 2,2,2
Corrupted Blood (P,S) - 1,1,2

Begin with your Autumnal Sproutling

1. Pass (Amalgam of Destruction is swapped in)
2. Volcano
3. Cataclysm (If Gloamwing kills you here, restart) (If Cataclysm misses, restart)
4. Pass (Corrupted Blood is swapped in) (You may end up with a stun here, but do not deviate from the strategy as you will need to cast Explosion before the next swap or your toast)
5. Scorched Earth (Same as above regarding stun)
6. Explosion (Corrupted blood dies)
7. Fist of the Forest
8. Lash (Depending on extra damage per round from Scorched Earth will determine if you need 2-3 lashes)

I ran this pet combo probably 60 of my 100 or so attempts with different spell combinations and with good RNG would get Gloamwing between 31-151 HP.

Hopefully this can help some of you if you were still looking for a strategy besides the ones listed above!

Thank you, it took ALOT of tries, but it worked. They key was my ominous flame survived till the very last round, ( after snowman died, after hat toss didn't quite kill the thing. I thought shadeflicker was bad... this guy is horrendous.

Don't be discouraged if you get a few crappy RNG pulls, this does work, but took me a few tries before my Ominous Flame lived through his force out.
