I created a flying team which works for all 18 legendary pets on argus. Only the strategy steps are different from fight to fight. If you don't use TD Script, note the strategy steps. TD Script is for all 18 pets. So rematch string and TD Script only needs to be copied once.

Foulfeather is a good second pet for this:

Foulfeather - Flock (goes for 3 rounds) > Infected Claw

I had to make a change to make this work for me. My Direbeak is not as strong as my Sharptalon. It is at 325 power so I used it. . I ran:
Black Claw, Ikky died
Sharptalon came in with Swarm, doing 100 plus per hit first round, then 300+ 2nd round.
I did not use Predatory Strike for my last round since they only let Direbeak hit him for just over 200 on the first fight. THAT seemed all wrong to me!
I ran Swarm again and it only took 2 hits at 300+ to kill him.
Thanks for the idea - that worked great for me.

I also used sharptalon, worked great, never used 3rd pet..the 325 power really works nice

I used a Highland's Turkey in place of the Direbeak Hatchling, and it worked with the strat above using Flock in place of Falcosaur Swarm. I had to Peck twice after flock was done, but the turkey survived just fine. Never used 3rd pet.

Turkeys ftw!

My S/S Turkey (didn't have the Highlands version leveled) worked like a charm. Only 1 Peck needed after the Fock and Turkey got hit only once.

Three turkeys (plain, Highland or Plump), all speedier than Pilfer, win the day. Using the same wonderfully-fun strategy from Foe Reaper 50 in the Dreadmines. First up Turkey casts Food Coma. Switch to second Turkey, cast Peck, then Food Coma. Switch to third Turkey, Peck & Food Coma, etc. Granted, it took 41 turns to complete the battle, but Pilfer never laid a finger on any of my Turkeys. While I wouldn't want to have to do this every day, it's sometimes fun to try something silly. Enjoy the game, folks!

Elsewhere I read turkeys are a good substitute for direbeak hatchling, so I used two (flock). I didn't even realize my first turkey was lvl 22, but I never needed the 3rd.
