Wow the tactic by "TheKekZ " worked directly where the above constantly failed for me, even though I had the right Pets. Pandaren Water Spirit/ Ominous Flame / Crazy Carrot worked like a charm at first try. (edited)

This worked for me with one exception, after Pandaren Water Spirit dives and misses the swap in, have it pass for the geyser to go off and stun Shadeflicker. Then Spirit dies and you can bring in the Water Waveling and get off the Frost Shock on still stunned Shadeflicker and he will be fast enough now to get Ice Lance first . As well, Ominous Flame will go first to finish.

Does not work with any breed of Fel Flame as a substitute. Only H/S has enough speed to be faster than a Frost Chocked Shadeflicker, and even then you need to lower its HP before battle. However, H/S doesn't do enough damage to kill Shadeflicker. Don't waste your time with a Fel Flame, this strat needs an Ominous Flame.

Okay, giving up on the B/B water wavleling strat. Close to 20 tries now and still can't get it to work. Far too much RNG for that whole combo to even be in here.

Yeah, this is another terribly misleading strategy; I hope everyone reads these comments. H/S Water waveling cannot win this. As a matter of fact, it should be changed to say something like "Breed: DON'T use H/S"

Actually I used H/S Water Waveling and on the second attempt this strategy did work.
Problem is many of the battles on Argus are RNG. Sometimes the luck is there, other times, its a rinse and repeat until a win. Gave it a 4 star because of the RNG factor. Otherwise its a doable strategy.

After finally winning this battle with my H/S Water Waveling and making my post above, I noticed Mynnerva's and Konne's posts. I tried it again with my B/B Water Waveling and won the first try. Shadeflicker was about 100 HP lower when Ominous Flame came in for the kill shot and took him right out. My guess is that B/B's slightly extra power offsets his lower health. Maybe give it a try if you have a B/B. Good luck!

As stated, it may, indeed, take a few tries to work. It can be extremely frustrating to lose time after time with your opponent at 32 HP or 40 HP. Grrrr! Hang in there, though, it WILL work eventually. Thanks for the strategy, Tsoonami (great name!), and for the wonderful website, XuFu.

Carrot + Omnious Flame + Tiny Twister also works.
Start carrot, take hit, swap carrot, use blistering, pass untill carrot dies.
Tiny Twister comes in, 25% dmg wind buff + lightning, swap with omni to get hit by void instead of claw, then swap tiny to get hit by claw, omni comes in, use curse + scorche and he should die.

He meant something like: Crazy Carrot (x-x-1), Ominous Flame (x-2-2) and Tiny Twister (2-1-2). Something like this:
Crazy Carrot starts:
1 - Pass
2 - Swap back to Carrot
3 - Blistering Cold
4 - Pass until carrot dies.

Tiny twister comes in:
1 - Flyby
2 - Call Lightning
3 - Swap to Ominous Flame
4 - Tiny is back, use Wild Winds (Used it personally, not written though)
5 - Pass till Tiny Twister dies if it's not dead already.

Ominous Flame comes in:
1 - Forboding Curse
2 - Scorched Earth

or something like that. Worked for me, though i'm not sure how I accurately followed that in first place lol.

With a H/S Waveling Dive has to hit for 192 or more damage for it to go down (no crits). Save some time reset if it doesnt

I also used B/B wavling. It made a difference using Ice Lance instead of Water Jet since Frost Shock chills the target and Ice lance hits chilled targets twice. Minor but in this close fight it mattered. Good strat

This worked great the first try, I think Belyea is right about Ice lance over Water Jet. I would have failed had I not taken Ice Lance.

Yes! Definitely take the Ice Lance talent instead of Water Jet on your B/B Water Waveling. That's the only way you can make it work with B/B breed. Good call.

Worked for me as well after 3 tries, but all three tries, my Pandaren Water Spirit was still alive after Dive on turn 10 and I had to use Water Jet to advance to the next step. Since that pet only comes in one breed and I was using the recommending H/S Water Waveling, I'm guessing this is just a typo or happening to everyone.

В перечне питомцев для данной стратегии нужно сделать уточнение, касаемое третьего пета. Если со Зловещем пламенем стратегия со второй попытки сработала, то если мы заменим Зловещее пламя на Пламя скверны (как это было у меня), да еще и с бридом H/P, то босс в первом же раунде вызывает именно Пламя скверны из-за большего количества ХР и вся стратегия летит к чертям.
Стоит сделать пометку под бридом Пламя скверны.
P.S. Посмотрел возможные бриды Пламя скверны - они все с "H". Этого пета нужно вообще исключать.
