Alternative Strat:

Dust bunny (x,1,2)

Any pet with damaging ability...

Dust bunny - smoke bomb, stampede until dead
Alpine chipmunk - woodchipper, stampede until dead
3rd pet - basic attack (I used a snail if it makes a difference)

It almost worked for me but he had something like 71 health left so I figured it was a crit somewhere changing the outcome. I liked the idea so well, I just changed it a bit.
I used Giant Sewer Rat since he has so much more power but there are other critters that have higher power than Alpine Chipmunk - I just put Stampede in the WowHead.com Pet Ability page and sorted at the top to put all the beasts and critters together and then looked down the Power column for the Critters for the strongest.
Then I put Frostfur Rat in the last spot so it could hit him with Call Darkness for the last move. Worked Great!

Strategy came up short with a S/B Dust Bunny, P/P Lava Beetle, and H/S Fire Beetle. Fire beetle dies before the last Burn goes off, then Dust Bunny gets hit before Burrow goes off.

Combining some of the other strategies here, I managed to kill it easily with:

Dust Bunny (Poor Quality, lvl 23 P/S) 1/1/x
Fire Beetle (Uncommon lvl 25 H/S) x/1/1
Darkmoon Hatchling (Rare lvl 25) x/x/1

1 - Smoke Bomb
2 - Switch to Fire Beetle
3 - Scorched Earth
4 - Hiss
5 - Pass (Fire Beetle dies, bring Darkmoon Hatchling)
6+7 - Flock (Hatchling dies, bring Dust Bunny)
8 - Scratch
9 - Smoke Bomb
10+11 - Scratch until Watcher is dead

I think this is very foolproof since my pets weren't even Rare quality or level 25, and the bunny only gets damaged by the Scorched Earth. I also only used fixed damage abilities to avoid RNG

Great strat and worked just as described. I used Nuts instead of Alpine Chipmunk as it has the same move-set. Another rabbit with Scratch Dodge and Stampede in 3rd spot just in case.

I didn't have any of these pets so i went with:

Egbert 2-x-2
Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm 2-1-2
Peanut 2-1-1

Start with Egbert:
-Feign Death

Peanut gets swapped in:
-Trumpet Strike
-Headbutt
-Trample (i got 3 then it died)

Bring in Pachyderm:
-stampede (dies after 1st round)

Egbert:
-Peck x2

RNG sucks, changed it a bit and using a SS bunny, not that it matters much, but only just worked and thats all it needs to do, getting all my achievements with Watcher.

This strategy worked for me just as it's detailed with the exception of omitting Dust Bunny's Scratch on the second Turn 3. One of my beetles lived a turn longer than expected, so Scratch would have gotten Bunny killed. As long as you watch out for that, works great! Thanks going out to solidstate77 & Xu-Fu.

Only fight I've ever found Wolpertinger useful. Took some RNG, but got it with Dust Bunny, Quillrat, and Wolpertinger

You guys are making this harder than it has to be... i haven't tested all the different breeds but this should work no matter what: (I used P/S Dust Bunny, an H/P Lava Beetle, and finished him off with a level 4 Rusty Snail, so I'm pretty sure your breed differences won't matter.)

1. Smoke Bomb
2. Stampede
3. Stampede
4. Dust Bunny dies
bring in Lava Beetle
5. Scorched Earth
6. Burn
7. Pass- Lava Beetle dies
8-9. use any Level 3+ critter of your choice to mop up. He'll only have 80-150 hp left, depending on RNG (or thereabouts if you use a different breed) and the scorched earth DoT is still ticking, and you get 2 free turns before he hits you - so any critter of your choice, even a level pet would be fine. I put 372 xp on my level 4 Rusty Snail.

I just used any critter for the first one and peanut and darkmoon hatchling for the other 2. After the first pet dies, get peanut, use trample and when you almost die survival and then trample again. After peanut dies, use trample with darkmoon hatchling till he dies.

Doesn't work if you have Peanut come out before Hatchling.
Any critter, pass to use up Cannon. Hatchling spams Trample 'til dead. Peanut Tramples once, then Survival. Spam Trample and win.

Used this and did something similar. Only had a shitty gray L25 Dust Bunny and none of the pets listed leveled. Ended up using The Dust Bunny, An S/S Grizzly Squirrel (2-x-2), and an S/S Darkmoon Hatchling (2-x-2). Smoke bomb, swap to Grizzly Squirrel, Woodchipper then Stampede until death. Swap to Hatchling, predatory strike then trample until death. Gray Dustbunny was able to finish with standard attacks.

If Watcher kills your Lava Beetle on the second hit this strat works. If it doesn't kill your beetle until the third hit, you need to Smoke bomb first then scratch before going to fire beetle.

Start with bunny. Smoke Bomb, then swap to Gotto Vole. Sting, then stampede till Grotto Vole dies. Swap to Darkmoon Hatchling, use Predatory Strike and then Trample. If Watcher is still alive, your Darkmoon Hatchling will die. Swap to Bunny and finish him off.

Everytime that I tried this strat my pets died because the timing was off for the cannon. So follow what Tatahe wrote.

The only way I was able to get this strat to work was to use Burrow instead of the Scratch+Smoke bomb after switching back to the Dust Bunny. Both of my beetles also were H/X breeds so they could take an extra hit. Ended up looking like this:

Turn 1 Smoke Bomb
Turn 2 Swap to your Lava Beetle
Turn 3 Scorched Earth
Turns 4+ Burn until your Lava Beetle dies
Bring in your Fire Beetle
Turn 1 Scorched Earth
Turn 2 Swap to your Dust Bunny
Turn 3 Burrow
Turn 4 Swap to your Fire Beetle
Turn 5 Scorched Earth
Turn 6 Burn - your Fire Beetle dies
Bring in your Dust Bunny
Turns 1 Smoke Bomb - Scorched Earth kills Watcher

Strategy is probably breed based, did not work at all after several tries, even with using the strat change mentioned in the comment with the Scratch then Smoke Bomb. I had to use the Fire Beetle first as it allowed for 2 Burns before death, rather than the 1 my Lava Beetle got it. (greater than 1319 health, around 1465)

I used a variation of the strategy above, but swapping out the beetles for a 2nd Dust Bunny and dots from Crispin the squirrel (drops from Tenpak Flametotem in Highmountain). Use Crispin to apply Nut Barrage and Woodchipper and them maximize with the Dust Bunny's Stampede.
