Didn't have Fen Crab so I used Frostshell Pincher. Has the exact same abillities. My Chitterspine Skitterling died when Minixis had like 300 life left (he healed), so I finished him off with Chitterspine Deepstalker's Dive.

Going entirely off of memory, the enemy pet is very slow. Without proper resources to difinitively determine what went wrong: either a faster breed crab (faster than Minixis) is needed in the first slot or the crab you used was not level 25 or perhaps not rare quality.
