Great and fast strat :)

Note on the third pet. If Squibbles hits your Micro Defender critical with Chain Lightning OR if you use an elmental and Chain Lightning is used OR your third is a magic pet (Can't get 750 damage from RT-3 M15), then the third pet has more hp than your Micro Defender and can be forced into fight.
edit: I forgot, Churro has an aoe ability too (Swipe). It's best to just use a beast with hp < 1354 or as you suggested, a pet with Ion Cannon as third pet. (editado)

Good point, thanks. Since Rematch is only using these </=/> HP informations for level pet slots, my Slot#3 pets were always dead before possible swaps.
