TL;DR: As this strategy currently exists, it's not one I would recommend.

This is a rather odd strategy.

1) Why not use Sandstorm a second time, when Gusteau has procced its Failsafe? (Especially if Enchanted Broom is low on health and won't survive the first round with Remy active.)

2) Why is no use made for Syd the Squid's second ability slot? I ask because I had both my Viscidus Globule and Remy die the same round on first attempt (with no crits on either), which left Syd to do all the work for the final pet. This is where Bubble could perhaps have been useful, especially with Frog Kiss' RNG.

2A) I just had VG die before Remy again (and again no crits), but this time the poison did not immediately finish Remy off. The rat got to have one last attack in (Scratch) and it was a crit on Syd. =/

In the end I still managed to win on the second attempt, but only because I deviated from the strategy itself. After the previously-mentioned crit against Syd, I did the following:

Round 17: Whirlpool
Round 18 & 19: Water Jet x2 (to break Dinner's Bubble)
Round 20: Bubble
Round 21: Whirlpool
Round 22-25: Water Jet until Dinner died

This was all without Dinner's Frog Kiss proc'ing, mind you. If it had, I definitely would have lost yet again. (editado)

I used stardust instead of the glob. 2,2,2. Switched after gust dies to stardust, use phase punch and then keep cosmic smash on cool down till stardust dies then finish with syd or broom.

So, for an actual strategy that works, try Abyssius, Chaos Pup and Enchanted Broom. Details are Naaman's comment on Varenne's WoWhead page. I tried this Xu-Fu strategy probably at least 15 times with no avail at all. I couldn't go with the first because I lacked a level 25 Jade Owl.

I didn't have Syd the Squid at max level. I used Extinguished Eye (1/1/2) instead. Depending on how good the other two pets fared before it, it worked okay. Not perfect, but I managed after 3 or 4 tries.

Great tactic thanks, works well! But I don't know how Gusteau would die off the 5th Wind-Up since that's not the part that does damage.

Looking for this. Wasn't sure where they were going with that, assuming one more wind-up.

Also, this strat took me 4 times due to RNG to use.

5th Wind-Up is somehow wrong there, you definitely need six - if you follow the instruction (Wind-Up - Gusteau should die. If he doesn't, restart the fight.) you would never - never ever finish this fight :)
The Viscidus Globe doesn't even make it to more than one turn with Dinner each try I took :(

Didn't have the last two pets. Used broom as described, sapphire cub (strong against critters) and jade owl (strong against aquatic). Worked like a charm.
