Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Medium XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Soloed both Andrus and Rydyr with Iron Starlette (1,1,2).

Narasin wrote on 2016-09-22 03:09:01

Draenei Micro Defender (1/1/2) can solo Andurs easily. Start with reflective shield, spam metal fist, and use ion cannon when he is below 800 hp.

Hey Narasin!
I couldn't get this to work reliably. Ion Cannon only deals 579 damage on the Musken, which means there has to be at least one crit involved, otherwise the Musken will heal itself up.

Ashtora wrote on 2016-09-25 03:07:32

I agree that if you use Darkmoon Zeppelin 1,1,2 and Darkmoon Tonk 1,1,2 it's easy to beat the Mini Musken, and probably Baby Bjorn as well.

Xeir wrote on 2016-09-25 00:52:32

The first time I did this WQ I don't think he Mini Musken used Wish at all, this time he uses it a lot the dark moon strat seems to be invalid.

QBrute wrote on 2016-09-22 06:25:26

It doesn't need to be that complicated. Darkmoon Zeppelin 1,1,2 and Darkmoon Tonk 1,1,2 are completely sufficient for both battles.

Firedrake1 wrote on 2016-09-25 00:25:35

Confirmed. Works great. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Shavai wrote on 2016-09-22 23:48:03

I had problems with the 2nd brother Andurs and ended up using three Nether Faerie Dragons, which may seem like a ridiculous choice, but the Musken kept giving itself really big heals. Life Exchange did the trick. :) Used Moonfire, then arcane blast until either Moonfire came off CD or it was time to steal half his health with Life Exchange. His health went down pretty fast after that. My Darkmoon Zepplin just couldn't keep up.

Anonymous wrote on 2016-09-22 01:46:41

I used lil bling 221 and beat andurs with half my health left still, also worked with rydyr but with a little less leeway :)

Radek wrote on 2016-09-01 20:02:42

Hi Xu :)
It's minor , but one breed of skywisp is too slow below 50% - it'll not get chance to get the cocoon strike up second time. Otherwise, the musken strat works nicely for both fights.
