This team has a combination of Darkness, Spectral Strike and DOT's, with the added bonus of all pets being Undead, granting an extra round when killed. I only have Bone Serpent levelled in BB breed, but imagine all breeds will do well. For Spectral Spinner I tried SS and PS breeds and both worked. Mostly didn't even need Widget, except for a weather change.

Not a typical Darkness team, but everybody can be successful with the Shop pets (ugh, Blizzard).
Any other flier with Call Darkness+Nocturnal Strike can be used instead of the Dread Hatchling (e.g. Fledgling Warden Owl or Crimson Bat Pup). |

There are so many pets with Darkness and it's a shame that you get to see just the same few over and over again, so let's bring some variety into the meta.

If you don't have a Dread Hatchling I'd recommend to use a Crimson Bat Pup instead.
The idea behind this strategy: use the undead round of the Spectral Raven to buff the next pet with Warning Squawk. Both of the other pets have a hard hit that is supposed to (hopefully) crit. |
