I believe any mechanical pet with Bite or Thrash can be substituted for pets #1 and #3, (eg two Mechanical Squirrels instead of a Cogblade Raptor) and the script should still work. It seems fairly safe to bring most any mech pet as 3rd, I didn't need mine either.
