An S/S Nether Faerie Dragon would work, I used P/S Nexus Whelpling myself, Emerald Proto-whelp was P/P but apart from the speed of the opener I think Any breeds are viable .

I tuned this over ~40 battles, and have a 100% win rate with it. Most of the time your Dragonete Etéreo Tocado pela Lua will solo this, but occasionally you can hit just the right conditions from crits or misses so that your Netherwhelp dies, and you'll need to use your Dragonetinho Onírico. Absolute worst case, your second and third pets should be able to finish the final enemy pet without any problems.

Start with Meteorite, phase shift and twilight fire, swap in thunderscale, do thunderbolt, lightning and tail slap until thunder is dead. Swap back in twilight do phase shift, meteorite and fire twilight dies, arcane storm and one hit from mana surge should see last pet dead, but if not mana goes for 2 more hits and your whelp has the health to get them in.
Note Breed of pets with this strat is irrelevant.
