I somehow managed to win with a Celestial Dragon (1 1 1), Emmigosa (2 1 1), and Chrominus (1 1 2).
I used Emmigosa because I didn't have other PS dragons that were working for me and I though the Surge of Power icon was Mana Surge for some reason. lol

I manually followed the steps for the Celestial Dragon until it died and brought in Emmigosa. Used Arcane Storm and this is when I realized the next ability should be Mana Surge, but I had Surge of Power. I knew Emmigosa would die, so to give a little more damage first I used Breath then Surge of Power. I brought in Chrominus and finished off the 2nd enemy with Bite. I used Bite on last enemy until I felt I had two more attacks.- then I used Howl and Surge of Power. Won with only a little HP left.

I didn't have an Infinite Whelpling, so I subbed Chrominius (1, 1, 2) and just used Howl & Surge of Power. Worked Great! Thanks for the strat!

I followed the given main method and used Chrominius as suggested above, my pets were:

Celestial Dragon (H/H)
Nexus Whelpling (P/S)
Chrominius (H/H)

For me this method using Howl & Surge of Power on the third pet worked first time but RNG could alter the outcome.

This worked for me 2nd try, but... with a modification. My PS Nexus Whelpling died before it could cast Arcane Storm the 2nd time, so I had to change up the last dragons rotation. I did Darkflame -> Healing Flame - Tail Sweep - Tail Sweep - Darkflame - Tail Sweep and it worked. I wouldn't have survived it without that healing flame in there.

For me this failed the first time because I second-guessed the script and didn't want to "waste" an Arcane Storm when the enemy only had 90 health. So I failed it, really. Worked fine the second time, with the script as intended.

Works in Shadowlands prepatch BUT both my drakes were P/P and it seems they need to be for this to work according to commends.

Like you suggested and like people have mentioned, I couldn't finish with two P/P whelps but once i swapped my nexus to P/S it worked out

I used HH dragon, PS Nexus, and PS Whelpling. It took several tries, but as soon as my Celestial Dragon finally managed to kill Delta, the strat worked. So my guess is that to save time, if your Celestial *doesn't* succeed in killing Delta, restart the fight.

That's my experience as well; as long as Delta doesn't wreck your first dragon with Black Claw, this strat does work. Its just a matter of restarting enough times to get the Ai to make dummy decisions.

Lost first try when Celestial and Delta took each other out. Tried Jim's variation and it failed pretty badly. Tried this one again, and although Delta outlived the Celestial, I pulled out a win. Only adjustment I made was a Healing Flame on the Infinite's first turn.

I tried a couple strats here but failed. My team I made, Stormborne(P/S)-1,2,2; Dream Whelp(P/P)-1,2,1;Emerald Proto-2,2,1. Arcane winds then mana surge, storm dies. emerald bite to finish 1st, then heal then emerald presence(for falling bones) then Emerald bite. heal when off C/D. same for Emerald Proto whelp. worked 1st time I tried.

This works a treat if you swap to Nexus Whelpling as soon as Black Claw is applied...let your Nexus Whelpling clean up first pet with Mana Surge, then bring back the Celestial Dragon starting with Ancient Blessing. Backline damage to your Infinite Whelpling is the only thing then that will trip you up.

It must have taken me 40 attempts with each of these strats in some form to get something to work. I finally ended up using Yu'la Broodling of Yu'lon (P/S), Spawn of Onyxia (P/P), and the Infinite Whelpling (P/S). It was the only way I could get my third pet to live long enough to kill his third one. Everytime I used a stormborne, I took more damage from the lightning than my pets could handle.

Eww. Sorry for your experience. My strats mostly are me being desperate because I don't have the proper pets for the easy strats. Most of them are probably bad and RNG, but any strategy I publish did work at least once..

I needed to use a heal after Darkflame with the Infinite Whelpling and then 2 tail sweeps. This was with my Celestial dying before killing the first pet.

My Stormborn wasn't 25, so I used Thunderscale Whelpling instead (2 2 2). Lightning, Thunder, Zap..killed Delta.

Scars kills Thunderscale, brought in Nexus Whelpling. Mana Surge killed Scars.
Little Blue in, kills Nexus.

Brought in Onyxian Whelpling. Healing Flame to counteract the Bonestorm from Scars; Deep Breath and then Tail Sweep to knock out LB.

It worked for me first try, just barely though (60 HP left on the Infinite). Make sure to cast Healing Flame with him when you can. My Nexus was a P/P and Infinite a P/S.

Took six or seven tries but it worked! Really just depends on when (if) Black Claw is applied by Delta. I was successful with Celestial Dragon, Nexus and Infinite Whelping were both P/S.

Doesn't work at all for me regardless of Nexus/Infinite Whelpling breed. For one, the Celestial Dragon always dies on turn 4 for me.

Usually my Strats aren't *that* dependent on the exact round. If you just continue with it when your dragon dies, following the priorities, does it work? Tail sweep if the enemy is low or if everything else is on cooldown. Probably want to fill the celestial death with tail sweeps to not break the follow up rounds though.

My pets were HH, PS, PS, but it was a very close win. Could see it taking a couple tries if you get crit too often.

Used Stormborne Whelpling (2/1/1) instead of the Celestial Dragon and followed the rest of the strat.

I used PP and PS and it failed, so I don't think it's the breed. I came close to winning but ultimately didn't.

I’m sorry this doesn’t work for you. I didn’t expect it to be horribly breed dependent. The round based writeup is indeed just written down what I pressed with HH PP PS breeds.

After the first 2 attempts I can honestly say I can't believe this worked, but it did. Used P/S Nexus and P/P Infinite.

AaronMM	This is a slight variation on the strategy from Feliciamarie on Wowhead. The first battle versus Delta works best if he uses Black Claw and Hunting Party on turns 2 and 3. If Delta does not use those turns in order then the fight can turn a bit complicated, however, this modified strategy works best versus Delta although you may have to restart the fight due to some poor RNG.
