Ghastly Kid and Naxxy will likely solo this battle. Voodoo Figurine is a good back up but any standard attack from an Undead pet should do it. If Dead Deckhand Leonard sweeps before the undead round, either change back to Ghastly Kid or restart the battle.

It really bugs me when people do this.
Sure, it's possible that strats can be wrong, and certainly when it comes to challenge achievements like Family most strats will not be 100%. That's fine. Let's by all means identify what went wrong.
But to do that we need people to give details so that others can a) conform that there is a problem and b) analyse where in the strat a change could be made to fix it.
And, honestly, I find a lot of complaints made about strats come from people who didn't follow them correctly.
Jagûar is an experienced strat-setter, so I'm guessing that in this case the problem is at your end. If you want anyone to believe otherwise:
1. Specify the pets and breeds you used
2. Explain exactly where the battle first deviated from the strat
3. Ideally, post a log of your attempt.

Note: I've done my best to account for the Sweep bringing in either Blightbreath or Scourged Whelpling. I used 23 Bandages and Dead Deckhand Leonard still refused to bring in Scourged Whelpling.

My suggestion is:
Start with Frostwolf Ghostpup
1: Refuge
2+: Scratch until Frostwolf Ghostpup dies (you kill Dread Deckhand Leonard and 1/3ish of Corrupted Slime)
3: Ghostly Bite (during Frostwolf's undead round)
Bring in Scourged Whelpling
1+: Tail Sweep until you win. Bring in 3rd pet if necessary to clean up. Scourged Whelpling survived until the end on all my attempts.
