If you have to substitute the used Penguin with another Penguin, I highly suggest you use the Tundra Penguin as H/P breed as it's Power scales better with the Power of the Penguin I used. Also the Tundra Penguin is from an actual Pet Battle, so that should be easier to get, if you don't have Pengu.
For the Crab I used an H/H breed due to it's higher Health, compared to the other Crabs. Also I chose the Emerald Turtle for it's massive health pool.
