I had some RNG trouble getting past the bird, early on, but if you manage to get out the second Водоворот, you should be fine.

This is based on the original 10.1 PTR tamer pets' stats/quality/etc. It might need adjustments on last-minute changes (potential nerfs).
Like it or not, this one will be one of the rare moments, when I recommend restarting the fight when a pet gets killed early (especially since we'll only need it once for the Family Battler). Of course, I didn't check all pets, but it feels like Bassalt is capable of killing any Aquatic pet within two rounds. |

Have not tested with different Otter breeds. I would imagine other breeds will work just fine. Юркий угорь must be faster than 309 speed to polish off Bassalt without taking damage if needed. Listed substitutes for Газ'руки should be fine.

Using a S/S Slimy Fangtooth with 325 speed was the key to easily winning this battle. Before that I failed 15+ times with a slower Slimy Hermit Crab.

And it still happens.
People who make up their own strat to get through a battle post their solution here.
But there is no longer any single page for the battle. So instead they post how they did it on somebody's strategy page.
The comment has no relation to the strategy on which they post it. It's just another attempt at a strat for the same battle.
This causes confusion and some annoyance.

For example, in this case, if your first pet isn't fast enough (>309 speed required) you can forget it.
I just tried it. Worked perfectly for me.
I used an S/S Slimy Fangtooth 1339/272/325, and logged it.
The potential for failure here seems to be in the first pet matchup. If Bassalt crits with Mudslide, you can say goodnight. That's a 5% chance. But your Expunge has a lot more RNG in itself. It has a range of 408-911. If you hit above 740, removing Bassalt's Flying racial, HE can say goodnight.
Bassalt doesn't have a fixed move sequence, and I don't want to walk through the whole probability tree, but my guess is that you have at least a 70% chance of killing Bassalt and getting your Expunge off on Clawz, and once you do that, you're in good shape.
I'd call that OK for a challenging Family battle.
P.S. I just thought to check your roster. According to https://www.wow-petguide.com/User/2545/Nuke2099#2556/Collection your only Slimy pet is a P/S Darkhunter, which, at 265, is too slow for this strat. As I look at your collection today, you do have an S/S Fangtooth, which should work for this, but it is level 1. Level that one up and try again!
P.P.S So I checked Thromkal's collection as well. https://www.wow-petguide.com/User/36629/Thromkal/Collection Again, no appropriate substitute pet of the needed speed.
I'm guessing that most of the comments from people saying they failed is because of not meeting the speed requirement. (edited)

They just don't think about other people, or the proper functioning of the site.
As a atrat-setter, you learn that if your instructions can be misread, they will be misread. Even if they can't be misread, they will be misread anyhow.
You might add "First pet MUST be greater than 309 speed" to the start of your comment. It might help, a little. Some people might notice. But people not reading constraints is one of the regular problems around here. And that wouldn't be so bad if they specified their species and breeds and how the battle went in detail - preferably with a log.
Anyhow, your strat has clearly helped a lot of people, so thank you for that!

The reason they ask these questions is because we get a deluge of, honestly unhelpful, 'didn't work' comments. If someone is going to take the time to comment, it's helpful for the strategy creator to know where the strategy went wrong, especially when they take the time to respond to comments to try and figure out how they can improve the strategy.
Bezzert and Mardei are the two unfriendliest fights we have in Dragonflight, hands down. In all honestly, there might not *be* anything the OP can do to improve the strategy. In the end, if someone isn't going to provide more than 'didn't work,' they might as well just rate the strat and move on. (edited)

Geysir and tail hit until death, then continued with the kanalrohrglibber as described in the rotation. Through the geysir, Basalt moves to the back row and only comes back after Kralls is dead. You also need a little luck, in the end it will be tight and depends on crits. sorry for my bad english,.
