This strat has worked very consistently for me, 5/5 straight wins.
The only variation I've seen is Spectral Porcupette will occasionally survive long enough for a 4th Powerball

Since my Spectral Porcupette was still alive after 3 Powerballs against Phantus and Spirit Spikes was off CD, I just used that and Powerballed again. This ended the fight at round 7 for me. Since that's not how the strat has been indicated it will be used I ran it again and it went how the strat is lined out above.

The difference is in how Phantus used their moves. For the strat above, this works when Phantus uses Stampede immediately after Exposed Wounds. In the iteration I had where I got to use Spirit Spikes again, Phantus used Smash *then* started Stampede.

It's a bug at the moment. Usually relogging, or logging in to another character entirely will usually register the credit.
