Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Still working in 9.2, had a hard time understanding the note on turn 4 until i realized i needed to swap to the 3rd pet slot so he can get hit by the Void Gate, forcing Squirky to come in. Ty!

The strat failed the first time for me because my third pet was swapped in... second time worked great when i selected a third pet with lower health

tried strat 4 times in a row, with various random humanoid pets. Every single time, 3rd pet kept getting swapped in instead of corefire imp. Not a great strat with the swap RNG> :(

Riverx wrote on 2023-09-26 05:36:17

Your 3rd pet must have less hp than the imp. Follow that and the strat will work for you.

Thank you! Three+ losses, came here, saw your comment, switched to low hp 3rd pet, won on first try!

Amazing. My 3rd pet had 1400 health, just barely the requirement, but it worked and was quick! Thanks

Thanks for the strat, worked great! Used this script :)

standby [ round=1 ]

use(409) [ ! self.aura(Immolation).exists ]
use(592) [ ! enemy.aura(Wild Magic).exists ]
use(934)

I used Qiraji Guardling for the 3rd slot and Sandstorm for the winning hit.

I had issues with the swaps when using BB Squirky (1441 hp), PS Corefire Imp (1400 hp) and PS Qiraji Guardling (1400 hp) in the random slot.
I changed the order to:
1. Qiraji Guardling / random
2. Squirky
3. Corefire Imp '
worked perfectly.

and adapted the script (also fixed the missing ids on the aura checks for international clients...):

-----------

standby [ round=1 ]
change(#1) [ round=4 ]
use(409) [ ! self.aura(Immolation:408).exists ]
use(592) [ ! enemy.aura(Wild Magic:591).exists ]
use(934)
use(163)
use(1737)

Could not get this to work, so I tried with two Anubisath Idols ( 2 * 1 ) and the Imp. A bit RNG with the low hit chance on demolish but as long as you manage to block the void gate with the deflection it worked anyway.

This strat doesn't work if your 3rd pet has more than 1400hp. Which for me, was all of them. Thankfully the achieve does not require level 25 pets. So I just put in a sacrificial level 1 pet as my 3rd pet and boom, strat worked.

Fyuriagosa

wrote on 2022-01-17 16:54:58

Worth noting that this strat only works if your Corefire Imp has more health than the other two... i always get swapped to Squirky or the third pet, so this ruins the whole after the first step.

no matter what I do, Corefire Imp is still switched in at turn 4, I can't get Squirky to get sqitched in
