This strat accomodates for the four different chances you may be put Asleep. I used PP Whelp, and have not tested with other breeds. I would imagine that the other breeds don't have enough power to pull this off.

For 3rd pet, I would recommend any Dragonkin with Surge of Power or Arcane Winds, although any strong attack should finish off the fight.
