You're probably fine to grab whatever for slot 3. The Sapphire Cub being faster just makes it shorter because Bucky doesn't get to attack. Just keep in mind it needs to have LESS hp than the Spectral Porcupette |

1. A green (perhaps even white) Minfernal will suffice if you're short on stones and just got the first one you saw when you captured him.
2. The wild Felcrazed Wyrm and Arcane Gorger that spawn in the same zone as Bucky share moveset with the Shimmering Wyrmling and are (obviously) far easier to get if you didn't pick up Shimmering already. Similarly, Untethered Wyrmling from the Suramar quest and Mana Wyrmling from Dealer Rashad share the same set, though they're slightly harder to get (still far easier than Shimmering).
I didn't test whether they'll actually work since I had Shimmering already sitting in my journal, but it's worth a shot short of going and doing dailies for a few weeks.
ps Yes Felcrazed has a fire attack as the alternate in slot 1, but since you'll have feedback anyway it's identical for this purpose.
