Had to use Wild Golden Hatchling as he has higher base damage - original team died with Mar'cuus at 32 health. Also followed advice in one of the comments to switch order to Life Exchange > Moonfire

Did not work for me until I realized I had a P/P Nether Faerie Dragen. Then swapped and used Life Exchange Before moonfire and it worked perfectly.

doesn't work for p/b, life exchange doesn't do enough damage and then neither does moonfire. the surge of power caps out and he's left with ~60 hp every time

have to do it normal and hope faerie dragon gets VERY lucky

Didn't have the right breed, so tried swapping Moonfire and Life Exchange, but was constantly 68 HP off from killing him with Surge of Power.

Switched out Nether Faerie Dragon (only had a P/P with 1319hp) with a Sprite Darter Hatchling (S/S - 1400hp) and killed him. The sprite survived Turn 6 with 18hp so was able to cast life exchange and Chromi finished him off ... As long as Mar'cuus doesn't crit the Sprite Darter, you will win ....

Subbing Sprite Darter Hatchling (S/S) for the NFD worked for me, but with some RNG. On my first try with this combo my Sprite Darter Hatchling was pounced to death before it could get Life Exchange off. Second try he had 18 HP left to pull off the life exchange. It's a bit luck dependent.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this, but the twilight clutch sister which was previously suggested for shadeflicker is also awesome on this, I worked up this strategy myself: used a nether fearie dragon with 341 power and 260 speed, passed on first round, then sister did meteor and barrier, so that mar'cuus won't hit you with pounce, back to faerie, equalize just after barrier ends, which heals you and damages him by over 726, then I just kept damaging him, moonfire, died, he swapped sister in, again meteor and found out he was so low hp I could just finish him with fire (first ability), but even if he had been higher hp, could still use barrier, so again he wouldn't damage me with prowl and use yu'la which was my last pet which I didn't even need, so powerful the sister is, awesome pet!

i used Chrominius (X,1,2), 2 Nether Faerie Dragon (X,2,1)= chrominius pass, and puts in a Nether Faerie Dragon, moonfire and exchange life, puts in 2nd Nether Faerie Dragon. Moonfire and exchange life, then chrominus comes out howl and surge of power. works out if you dont get critted and killed before those attacks.

You do the exact strat listed above under alternative 1, except you cast early advantage instead of call lightning.

It worked....and I was happy and surprised.

Was able to beat this with:

Sprite Darter Hatchling (Arcane Blast, Life Exchange, Moonfire)
Round 1- Anything, Darter will get swapped out for Chrominius
Round 2- Swap back to the Darter
Round 3- Life Exchange
Round 4- Anything, Darter will die before casting

Chrominius (Bite, Howl, Surge of Power)
Round 5: Howl
Round 6: Surge of Power
Round 7: Stand there and die

Ageless Bronze Drake (Devastate, Breath, Time Stop)
Round 8: Breath
Round 9: Devastate (to avoid swap dmg)
Round 10: Time Stop
Round 11: Breath

This was such a close fight, that I imagine rng will change results. I also know that these pets are somewhat rare, but the other dragon strats weren't doing it for me, and this finally did it. Good luck!

I didn't have a decent pet for the thunderbolt/call lightning combo so I ended up going with Yu'la and 2xChrominius.

My NFD is P/B and I followed the strat and it worked the first time around. Due to these suggestions I tried again but swapped Life Exchange and Moonfire around and failed.

With a P/B dragon I had 8 HP when the Life Exchange happened. Any breed with lower HP is going to need to swap them.

I could not get this to work, no matter what kinds of breeds I tried. Ended up going with:

Azure Whelping (P/P) 2/1/1
Chrominius x2 (H/H) 1/1/2

Pass
One chrominius is swapped in.
Howl
Surge
Chrominius 2 is swapped in
Howl
Surge
Azure Whelping is swapped in
Arcane Storm
Surge

Done.

For me I had a s/s NFD 1319HP, which got taken out by the two pounces during the Moonfire/Life Exchange sequence.
Used a Sprite Darter Hatchling instead, with 1400HP, and, unless Mar'cuss crits, he survived on 9 health to get the LE off. After that, smooth sailing.

My Wild jade wasn't rare, so it didn't have the speed to make it back down to do the swap.
I swapped in Azure Whelpling (P/P) with arcane storm Surge of Power. Rest as described.

For the 3 dragon team I was struggling with this strategy a bit, so I just switched a few things around. Turn 1 was Pass and I had used Thundering Serpent Hatchling instead of Wild Jade. Turn 2 Call of Lightning, then Turn 3 was Tail Sweep. Nether Faerie Dragon gets swapped in after Thundering serpent dies. Turn 4 Life Exchange. Turn 5 Moonfire. Turn 6 Nether Faerie Dragon dies, Chrominius gets swapped in. Turn 7 Use Howl. Turn 8 Surge of Power and that's when you'll win the battle.

Faire une team avec Dragon féérique en 1ère mascotte. Enclencher un combat avec une mascotte du coin et annuler tout de suite (conséquence : moins 10% de pv pour le dragon).

Faire la team sans la soigner avec Dragon féérique avec l'échange de vie, Chrominius avec hurlement et vague de puissance et dargonnet né-des-tempêtes avec éclair et appel de la foudre.

Passe, entrée de Chrominius, switch pour le dragon féérique : échange de vie, passe, Chrominius entre : hurlement, vague de puissance et le dragonnet entre : éclair et appel de la foudre.

Et voilà le tour est joué. Bonne chance.
