See for example how Weakness or Quicksand (-50% speed) cast on a flying pet with the (+50% speed) racial make the target's speed default (well, unless you damage it enough). Darkflame during a *Darkness* weather cancels all healing unless an elemental is concerned.
Personally, I think the Boss/Elite passive should not belong here just for this reason, as it tunnels the player's vision to a specific debuff provided by Flock, Stampede, etc, and pre-Legion – Howl. Cue the circus when we start talking about elementals or aquatics though :)

Open with a bite then howl then surge of power. Next chrominius just howl then surge and same with the 3rd.

Start with breath, life exchange, than keep using celestial blessing until Yu'la dies. It'll make the nether faerie take less demage. Skip the first round, life exchange, moonfire and arcane blast until it dies.
Chrominius will easily finish the fight with howl and surge of power.

I replaced Nexus Whelpling with Azure Whelping and went straight in with Surge of Power. I followed this with Wild magic and Claw. From there I followed the above but it killed first time every time for me. The goal was to use biggest hitting spells first as it was unpredictable how hard you would be hot resulting in never getting to use the powerful spells with the above tactic.
Azure Whelping (1/2/1) Surge of Power, Wild magic, Claw (If not dead)
Nether fairy Dragon (2/2/1) Moonfire, Life Exchange, Arcane Blast, Moonfire (if not dead).
Chrominus as above.

I used 3 Chrominiuses, all (1,1,2)
For the first Chrominius, Bite, Howl, and Surge of Power. He'll die.
Then, just Howl + Surge of Power with the remaining Chrominiuses. If your first Chrominius can't get one Bite off in the beginning AND a Surge of Power, go ahead and restart the fight because it won't work. Good luck!

Each howl/surge did 644 damage, and the boss had 1840 hit points. Howl/Surge seems to be able to do that damage through crouch, so the only way this can fail is if the 2nd Chrominius gets hit 2x 3 times.

Breed might be important for the strat posted above, so I changed it around a bit:
Sprite Darter Hatchling (2/2/1), Nether Faerie Dragon (2/2/1), Chrominius (1/1//2).
Followed similar moves above, Moonfire, Life Exchange, Arcane Blast (these will be ignored due to Crouch). You most likely won't get a hit in on this thing aside from the first 2 moves, but you're trying to buy time on reducing the Crouch rounds.
Next is Nether Faerie Dragon, and use the same moves again. Here's the tricky part, your only chance is hoping that his Flurries only hit twice and not three times.
if its health is low enough, you can Howl and Surge of Power.
I did this so many times, trying different pets, but the Crouch really makes this rough for the Dragonkin achieve.

Дитя юй-лун 1/2/2,Детеныш летучего хамелеона 2/2/1, Хроминий 1/1/2. Начинаем Д.Ю Дыхание,дыхание,обмен жизню,благословение небес,дыхание меняем на Д.Л.Х лунный огонь, чародейская всп,обмен жизнью хроминий вой, прилив мощи.
Можно взять чудесный дракончик пустоты P/P вместо летучего принцип боя тот же, все зависит как критует мерзокоготь. Удачи !
