Pet breed substitutions: PP Nexus Whelpling and PS Zandalari Kneebiter are the most consistent breeds, but other breeds may work with reduced consistency: Nexus Whelpling - other breeds as well as Stormborne Whelpling may work. There may be some slight RNG with this, it's failed a few times for me and watching through it I believe that depending on the number of Beauty's quill attacks and possible crits the Red Dragonhawk Hatchling can be killed before Conviction is brought in. This will leave Conviction with too much health for Micromancer to deplete and the Red Dragonhawk Hatchling will not be able to one-shot him and will ruining the battle. It also seems possible but rare for the Red Dragonhawk Hatchling to not be able to kill Dignity before she casts Tidal Wave re-killing your lvl 1 pet (although higher pet levels may survive). That's really unlikely.
Let's do some math :D

Maximal quill attacks without critical hits:
Turn 1: sunlight --> 237dmg (you: Conflagrate)
Turn 2: love potion --> 0dmg (you: Flame Breath)
Turn 3: 3x quill Red Dragonhawk Hatchling is slower --> 3x104=312dmg (you: Flame Breath)
Turn 4: 2x quill Red Dragonhawk Hatchling is faster --> 2x104=208dmg (you: Flame Breath)
Turn 5: 2x quill Red Dragonhawk Hatchling is faster --> 2x104=208dmg (you: Flame Breath)
Turn 6: love potion --> 0 (you: Conflagrate)
Turn 7: sunlight Red Dragonhawk Hatchling is faster and beauty dies --> 0 (you: Flame Breath)

=> 1x237(sunlight) + 7x104(quill)= 965
965 < 1319hp --> Red Dragonhawk Hatchling survives

How many critical hits need Beauty to kill Red Dragonhawk Hatchling?

7x104(quill)x1.5(critcal) + 237(sunlight normal hit) = 1329 > 1319 --> Red Dragonhawk Hatchling dies Turn 5

OR

5x104(quill)x1.5(critcal)+ 2x104(quill) + 237(sunlight)x1.5(critcal) = 1343,5 > 1319 --> Red Dragonhawk Hatchling dies Turn 5

==> Red Dragonhawk Hatchling only dies if quill hits 7x critical

I came across the issue. I did have a S/S Red Dragonhawk Hatchling but had left it at uncommon level. The speed was high enough but the attack power wasn't above the 275 required which could rarely cause issues depending on bad RNG.

Beauty has a speed of 446, so acting before her isn't going to happen. The very first thing she does is throw out "Sunlight" for 237 damage, instantly killing any level 1 pet.

Your Micromancer uses a few turns later "Raise Dead" and your lvl pet is alive

Pet breed substitutions: PP Nexus Whelpling and PS Zandalari Kneebiter are the most consistent breeds, but other breeds may work with reduced consistency: Nexus Whelpling - other breeds as well as Stormborne Whelpling may work.
