However, Legion pet trainers can also be fought at any time and STILL give tremendous XP. So when I saw this one up, conveniently situated in Dalaran, I wanted to make a nice carry strategy. The goal is to use the Harmonious Porcupette to help the Empowered Manafiend do as much damage to the enemy backline pets as possible while the low-DPS, single-targeting Itchy is active. Only rarely does Salty Bird not die to this, and sometimes even Grommet dies to the backline onslaught. It's like clockwork--you almost always get three cycles of Amplify Magic, Flux, Arcane Explosion. If Itchy gets a crit, you may be below 153 health on the third cycle, in which case you want to forego Amplify Magic as you won't get two more rounds to DPS. The Empowered Manafiend dies in a timely way, letting the carry pet see the front line, and Claw is then the best choice for killing Grommet.	Level 1+	2	0.0	1	152 2:32	18+

The imps can die to salty bird due to the high crit it gets. it has happened to me 2 times out the 20 attempts i made.

There is no need to Armageddon in the end. Flame Breath is slightly faster, does enough damage to kill in the same round and since the levelling pet have already been swapped in, in round 2, XP is garantied.
11,9 sec vs 10,8 sec from last button press to XP is awarded and pet dings a level. (edited)

Actually Flame breath has a base damage of 16 while Armageddon has a base damage of 20, Flame breath does add the DOT but as that is already applied it won't allow for it.

BUT this does bring up a good point of why I do the swap into the level pet. I do that because the risk of using Flame breath and Time Bomb crits could cause an early kill on Itchy putting you out of sync but if I do that we might be able to finish a round earlier, ill have a play and see what I come up with (I think I might have already done this but can't remember the downside)

So the round 2 Flame breath worry is a hangover from the previous strat. BUT even using Flame breath, without a crit it will still take 2 Spirit claws so there could be some advantage to it.
So what I have done to save the 1 second, is added a condition into the script is to use Flame breath instead if at a certain threshold and put old script into another comment (edited)

The 2nd pet just needs to have a decent non dot damage skill in the first slot that is not undead or aquatic and have either a high damage or interrupt for the skills in 2nd and/or 3rd slot. Tested with Brilliant spore, Barnaby, Zanj'ir poker, netherspace abyssal, death adder hatchling, so far. They do need to be over 276 speed to be able to beat out grommet.
