You can win with Anomalus as well instead of Vicidus, Anamalus is very meta so most pet collectors should have him. Just use corruption, toxic smoke, poison protocol corrosion and try to cover the next fire field with toxic smoke but I didn't and just moonfire'd it away. I kind of scuffed it overall but you end up easily winning anyway.

didnt have vicidus globule...tried with mini mindslayer (212) instead.
amplify magic , followed by life exchange and mana surge.
rest of the strategy same as guide.
