oooof - spent a good 5 hours trying all the strats on here until this one worked....first 2 pets really dont matter which you use...just use your hardest hitting pet with surge and your hardest hitting pet with geyser...the skitterling has to be S/S though

This one worked for me with the substitute of Gahz'rooki in 2nd slot. Finally found something that works after trying 50 times with the other combinations that weren't really even close. I had to go back and capture a PP Emperor Crab (easy) and a SS Chitterspine Skitterling (easy). FINALLY!!! Works in the latest version of WoW!

Worked with Tideskipper at No.2 slot (although I would have hated my crab having to need a second surge at the end :-) ). The crab power and Chitterspine speed notes above are key, I believe.

If you're missing pets here, I won on my second try with the following pets:
Snarly *1*, Tideskipper HH **2, Chitterspine Skitterling SS *22
You just need either a couple of crits going your way or a low roll or two of Slicing Winds.
There's even a chance (if the first Slicing Winds hits once) of Tideskipper HH surviving to use a second move, which didn't need to happen for me to win. (edited)
