The end of 2024 brought with it another secret finding hunt! This time for the mount Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle! Part of the hunt is a very specific pet battle. Check the "Jeremy Feasel" link at the left side for a number of working strategies to pick from.
In order to obtain this mount, at one point during the chase, you need to win against good old Jeremy Feasel. He is using the same pets as in his usual spot, the Darkmoon Faire, but with a tough limitation: only pets that were part of secrets themself are allowed and count towards the quest progress! And Jeremy's pets are all level 25 in this fight so you will have to level yours up!
Below is a list of pets known to work for this quest. If you want to quickly check which ones you have, create an account here (top right icon) and import your pet collection. The page will then show which ones you have. It can also pick the best strategy for you based on your collection.
Just starting out with pet battles? Here's a simple way:
Go for the top three pets in the list. Then buy Ultimate Battle Training Stones to bring them to level 25. Lower level pets have little chance in this fight. Also, if you use a pet that is not rare / blue quality, you will want to grab a Marked Flawless Battle Stones You can buy the stones from many vendors, for example Lysindra in Valdrakken (/way 48, 82) with Polished Pet Charms.
Check your alts, because you might already have some Charms from previous expansions and mission tables!

OMG thank you so much everyone... I used a combo of Aranesh strat with Jenafur and Wicker Pup with Majea's with Glimr and Wicker Pup. Lots of rng but won after about 8 tries.
Not sure how to add to the alternatives chart, but I finally won with Spyragos, Nalthara, and Terky. Did Spyragos - Flame Breath, Chain Lightning, Flame Breath till Judgment dead. Spyragos still alive. Honky Tonk targeted first turn allowing me to use Deep Freeze which knocked a chunk of its HP down. Spyragos down, brought out Nelthara did Rupture then Stone Shot till Honky dead. Nelthara still alive, got stunned by Fezwick first round, did Rupture when able which got Fezwick down a good bit. Nelthara died, Terky up. Did Acid Touch then Stampede until Fezwick down. Took many tries because Spyragos needed to be able to Deep Freeze Honky Tonk and Fezwick kept getting a last Crit killing Terky. I won twice, quest didn't trigger, won third time and it did. Wicker Pup vs Honky-Tonk 1. Barkskin (honky tonk dies from overtime effects on round 10) Wicker Pup vs Fezwick 2. Infected claw till round 15 when I consumed corpse at around half health 3. Barkskin 4. Infected claw spam and Fenwick died at round 18
Took me 3 tries to get the muffin, as the most difficult part is getting Judgement to not kill Baa’l too early with crits. (editado)
Strange, I had read people were having issues with this page, and on one visit it was just fine, this time around I was unable to use the links in the table, but if I CTRL+Wheel up and Zoom in really close I can click the links ::shrugs:: - Regardless, THANK YOU for all your contributions to this community/game
Some of those pets can be collected just going to a location and picking it up. gizmo is a side part of the current quest chain as well taptaf was a short quest that will take little time at high levels. bumbles is already available for anyone who did the bee honey grind for the bee mount.
There were so many past pets from various secrets, but i guess the upset people must have skipped those, and only want a mount now. Ironically, some have spent years or even decades farming a mount or transmog, but a couple hours to get a pet that will lead to a mount is too much. ;) (editado)
Could you make this a page like any other single pet fight page? Just so anyone could add strategies. Also this is not a pet dungeon with multiple fights, so why is there a "mass rematch export"? Apologies if I didn't get something here... (editado)

You're definitely right. This fight has drawn a lot of new people to the page and it clearly showed some issues with how easy it is to navigate. Finding the button on the left is one of them. I've added the "mass import" to this page because it's very easily done and gives people a visible button that takes them to the curent top strategy, without much effort.

I used Glimr, Baa'l and Wicker Pup and won, but did NOT get the quest update. Going to try again. Strat was ?? Opened with Glimr Lucky Dance, then back to Baa'l, back to Glimr Lucky Dance, and Wicker (Id say luck RNG) with Consume Corpse keeping alive.
Went and grabbed the missing recommended pets and followed the strat on WoWHead (Spyragos, Nelthara, Wicker Pup). Won again and again no update.
Going to try that one again, if it doesn't work. Waiting for a fix. I hate not knowing if it's me or a bug!
Won a third time and still no update to "Master of Secrets". IDK annoyed would put it mildly as I don't know why it won't update. Doing EXACTLY the stat recommend with the pets recommended and ZERO.
Tried again. The 'strat' with the recommended 3 - won 5x lost 3x. NO QUEST UPDATE. 11/25/24 12am. Maybe tomorrow.

This strat is very RNG dependant. I tried it 4 times and it never swapped to Honky-Tonk at step 4. Fifth time he swapped. Got a bit unlucky with crits, but I managed to do it. Another good third pet is Wicker Pup, because he has Barkskin (1, 1, 2 abilities) (editado)

Bonjour, J'ai mis comme à dit Tigra#1491 sauf qu'avec Terkie je n'y arrivais pas donc j'ai mis Glimr 1-Jeune fée du soleil 2-2-2 2-Taptaf 1-1-1 3-Glimr 2-1-2 Combat : Jeune fée du soleil 1-Beau fixe (à remettre dès qu'il est up) 2-Bénédiction antique (à utiliser dès qu'il est up) 3-Gaz Passer quand plus de choix et passer aussi si vous êtes stun Continuer avec la fée même s'il change de mascotte 4-Gaz Quand la féé est morte, prendre Taptaf : 1-Goinfrerie à chaque fois qu'il est up 2-Sabot Et continuer ce cycle jusqu'à la mort de Taptaf Prendre Glimr : 1-Tourbillonnement 2-Barrage d'oeufs 3-Jaillissement d'eau plusieurs fois pour finir le combat. Pour moi c'est bien passé Glimr avait encore environ 3/4 de sa vie. j'ai pu constater que Barrage d'oeufs est très important pour combattre le singe donc ne pas oublier de le mettre. J'espère que cette strat sera aussi bien pour vous qu'elle a été pour mi et merci à Tigra#1491 et aux autres (car j'ai presque tout essayé des compo des joueurs qui ont posté :) Et c'est vraiment sympa que des joueurs prennent la peine d'aider les autres. J'ai farmé exactement les mêmes mascottes que toi, je suis à la lettre tes instructions et ça ne passe pas, j'en suis à mon 22e essai :( c'est démoralisant.
Bonjour, J'ai Gizmo, Renny & Tit'Abom, mais le script me dit pourtant ceci : Au moins une mascotte requise n'est pas dans votre collection au niveau 25 qualité rare.
Vous pouvez éventuellement utiliser une mascotte de substitution, chose que la liste ne vérifie pas automatiquement.
Vérifiez directement sur la page de la stratégie pour voir si c'est possible pour vous.
Une idée ? Parce que je suis vraiment une quiche en combat de mascotte, je n'aime pas ça, et n'ai aucune pièce pour monter celles-ci...
