Welcome to Fury Incarnate! To celebrate, Xu-Fu is hosting a little giveaway for everyone playing on the European servers, sponsored by Blizzard EU.
You can win one of three gift codes for the Steamscale Incinerator mount.

WoW is all about exploration and secrets are some of the best things out there, but perhaps you have your own story to tell about something you discovered in the game? We want to hear about it!
Between now and September 12th (end of day), write a comment below this news post, telling us your favorite, your funniest, or your most memorable story around exploring the world of Azeroth.

After the 12th, we will raffle out two codes randomly among all entries, and the third will be given by the Xu-Fu team to the story that most inspired us.

Keep in mind to post with a registered account so we can contact you please.
Big thanks for participating, we are looking forward to reading from you!

At Cataclysm, I was peacefully questing at low level (did not know there was something to do at HL...) when Deathwing just burnt me. I did not know what had happen to me...

My best discovery was coming back after a few years of not playing due to healthreasons, I found that I suddenly had completed the achievement 'What a long, strange trip it's been", 12 years after I got the rest of the achievements for the meta. Blizzard finally had decided to make 'School of hard knocks' no longer needed, and I got my Violet Proto Drake.

Connected to this (the reason I don't do PVP) this is because I had a terrible experience when I first tried it, around august 2008, I had started playing WoW a month earlier and had gotten my first char, a warrior, to lvl 40, and lured by the promise of a once in a lifetime Tabard and great looking companion pet, I stepped into the world of PVP, and hated everything about it.
I got the Tabard, but never got tSpirit of Competition...
Until 15 years later it suddenly appeared on the Trading post, I was so happy to finally get it

The first exploring of Burning Crusade. Just one day before release my rougue Maureena went 60. She could hardly ride a mount. And I was way overwhelmed. This toon exists until today. No way to delete her because of so many things to remember.

I fondly remember playing through my first brewfest and getting my Wolpertinger pet with my best friend back in 2010. The next day in school I couldn't wait to get back home to continue playing!

Launch of Wrath of the Lich King, arriving in Howling Hjord by boat, the visuals and music, it was like I could feel the cold air of the north; it's something I'll never forget.

I adore exploring zones and when I first started out as a new worgen I made it my mission to get back to the ruins of Gilneas - before I had flying. I managed to get all the way up to the Western Plaguelands, only to be killed at The Bulwark by the forsaken guards. That was the day I learnt you could run past your body and rez further on than where you died. I did eventually get myself to Gilneas. There were a few more deaths along the way but I made it.

Other notable exploration shenanigans on that worgen include making it both inside of silvermoon solo and running along the water to fully explore up to the blood elf start zone to catch a ruby sapling.

For me it was the first day I played WOW. I had no idea what a MMPORG was or the scale of the game. I completed the first set of quests in the Bloodhoof Village. I walked around a lake and headed north. Then I saw Thunderbluff up on a hill and it hit me how big and beautiful this game was. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

My most happy and "sad" memory is during MoP farming Poseidus (before the CRZ and when the spawn time was once a week). After 7 days of non stop camping and putting up alarms at night to do the run around Vashj'ir I finally gor the mount! Instead of selling it for gold cap (1mil at that time) and buy a Spectral Tiger (the only mount I want in the game) I equipped it! And we all know how the prices and the rarity of those mounts went :D Oh well!! :P

The most memorable experience i ever had was the 1st time i logged in to WOW in BC. It was an amazing experience to custom make my character and begin playing in Northshire Abbey. Just getting to play with friends and share stories in vent was memorable. I also remember the scariest feeling. Everytime i heard the Void Reaver i would run and hide lol.

Since there's a restriction here on post length, I've posted my full story to Pastebin.

Haha! Love it! A friend and I went there at level 13, as unwitting victims on a mammoth with my level 80 friend. He dropped us in lava and hearthed.

The day the sprite darter became a Horde-only pet (back then it was a drop from sprite darters, which are friendly to Alliance), I legged it to Feralas on my Tauren druid, and got the pet on the 6th kill. I was so happy! I'd fallen in love with them the moment I'd seen them, and had wanted one ever since. When I got to Org, a lot of people whispered me about the pet, so I must have been one of the first people to get it. I didn't tell them where I got it, instead, I showed them and spent the whole day helping them get pets. Ever since then, I've made it a mission to help others get pets. I also like to help hunters get pets. Everyone needs a pet!
