Today, after nearly a year-long search, Jenafur was officially solved!

The person who solved the puzzle is named Paul, and he does not play World of Warcraft himself, but stated he does enjoy solving puzzles.
Hey there, I’m Paul. I’m not a WoW player, in fact I don’t play many video games at all these days, but I am into puzzle solving. A friend of mine had been telling me off and on all about the difficulties the WoW community has had with this puzzle, and convinced me to take a crack at it.

Got her! Thanks Paul (and everyone else who helped solve this)! Took me 2 tries, the first time I timed out, the food respawned and I tried again but had forgotten to pick up the meat that is the 5th at the top of the diagonal but I carried on thinking I would practice... but it worked anyway. So the 5th food at the top of the diagonal is not necessary! (edited)

Amazing! Got the new lovely cat <3
I collected first 4 meal from Moroes dinner room and placed at once to The Opera Hall. Then I continued to gather another 4 pieces from The Guest Chambers but when I come back to The Opera Hall, first 3 pieces was not showing in the floor. Anyways I just continue to place rest of the pieces. Was thinking i need to reset but Jenafur appeared :))

Thank you for this. I don't know Kara well enough to get the food at one time. I was happy to know that I could leave it and come back. I kept getting the room backwards so I thought more had to be done but as soon as I did the last piece, the music played! I knew something was up. :) (edited)

The hunt had it ups and downs, but it will remain memorable for eternity.

Thank you for all the hard work!! P.S. Druids, if you go into Stag, Doe, and Flight Form and target Jenafur (most cats too) and emote /sit your cat will lay on your back. much cuddles!!! (edited)

YEAH!!!! I just picked her up myself. Just follow the guides on wowhead, make sure you put all your "food" in one bag and keep it open. Then you should be good to go. Don't be a blonde like me (I really am one), and do regular Kara wondering WTH??? It's the Legion Kara. And as the guide says...don't kill the opera boss to fast...he bugs. Just ping him until he slips into next phase. No problem. Have fun. And OMG...Thank you Paul!!!!!!!

Amazing news :)

Note that you don't have to summon her yourself. So long as you have done the two prerequisites you can click on her to pet her and add her to your collection if she's already present.

So pop over to Ashenvale, then to Elwynn Forest and then to Karazhan.

Check LFG for jenafur to see if any groups are up with the summoning already complete ... if so join their group and head over to the Return to Kara opera hall and collect your new pet :) (edited)

Oh I didn't know about that, but also doing it the regular way is not much harder. It took me like 30 minutes and it was actually fun. I recommend doing it without this "trick" :)
