Patch 8.2 and Pet Update Issues

The patch is live and with it the usual suspects - API problems ^^
Importing or updating your pet collection from the armory currently returns zero pets. This is an issue on Blizzards side and we'll need to wait until it's been addressed.
In the meanwhile, it's the perfect opportunity to build some better error messages in so you know what's going on when trying to update your collection :-)

When i try & update my collection, i get an orange error box telling that there was a problem & to log out of my Xu-Fu account and log back in with Battle.net, which i do, but i still get the same error message.

in which there should be a file
Rematch.lua
That is where your Rematch teams are saved.
If your Rematch teams are disappearing, that file is either being deleted, not being written, or in some way corrupted so it can't be read,
Check out that file when you log out. Then log in, create a team, log out and see what's there after. I've never heard of this specific problem, but it has to be around that file.
Maybe try deleting that file while logged out, and Rematch will start a new one when you log in.

If you really, really, feel you need to access your list before that, you can try the workaround that others have said worked for them.
1. Find a character on your account level 10 or above (or it is 20 and above? 20 is safe, anyway) that you haven't logged in to since 8.2.
2. Go into your Account page here, Pet Collection, and change the character connected to your account with the "Change Character" button, low on the left hand side.
Don't log in to that character until Blizzard have fixed it!

Sorry if this comes out as too negative. It's not that big a deal; they'll fix the API eventually. I just wanted to understand why I don't have the "Change Character" button. Thanks for clarifying!
