No matter if they are supposed to be buffed by Unholy Ascension or Beast passive, Swarm abilities you want to use on this Spiked Shell need to do more than 196 damage per hit looking at the numbers in the pet journal, not the adapted tooltips while in fight.

Flying pet needs >263 Speed to benefit of the Flying passive and initially be faster than the 394 Speed of the enemy pet.
