My Infernal Pyreclaw is an H/B breed and solo'd this. Other breeds may vary, hence the Rabbit to come in and clean up what the Pyreclaw doesn't kill.

Pretty much anything with Dragonkin damage--doesn't even have to be a Dragonkin--can go in slot 1. Just keep in mind that the Belchling does Aquatic and Magic damage, so avoid using Flyers and Elementals.

Any pet with a cleave attack in the 2nd slot should fine. Sometimes Blightbreath will solo the fight.

PolarBruski's CBV 7-pet Stratholme Strategery: Fight 1
Strategy is still undergoing fine-tuning, please feel free to leave comments or contact me on the warcraftpets discord, including fights and enemy backline pets. Most fights are done with Main Team CBV (Crab, Bunny, Varmint): 1. Emperor Crab P/P 2. Tolai Hare Pup S/S 3. Rabid Nut Varmint 5000 B/B. Other pets 4. Zandalari Kneebiter 5. Lil' Bling 6. Yellow Bellied Frog 7. Hyjal Wisp The goal of this strat is to let people with fewer leveled pets finish Stratholme, or require them to level as few new pets as possible to have a dungeon team. It will not be the fastest strat, but I have tried to make it as reliable as possible. If you go in with the minimum 7 pets, this strategy might be slow and will probably require healing at some point. ||-->>Next Battle |

Got Zao here, but any pet with wish will do i guess. The breath does extra if a dragon is amongst the others, but finishes all easily. Third pet takes some aoe, take something you wont use later on

This team & strat are part of a Challenge Run Walkthrough. Again I tried to use a very limited number of no super rare pets which usually survive multiple fights.
Pets needed: 1. 1-2x Emperor Crab (Power preferred) 2. 1-2x Winter Reindeer / Gleamhoof Fawn 3. 3-4x Rabbits S/S 4. 1-2x Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (MPD) 5. 1x Bonkers (Power preferred) 6. 1x Shore Butterfly (Power preferred) 7. 1x Left Shark 8. 1x Ikky 9. 1x Zandalari Anklerender (P/P) 10. 1x Lil' Bling 11. 1x Chitterspine Skitterling (Nazjatar wild catch) 12. 1x High HP random Aquatic Stratholme random team filler pets are challenging. For 4 encounters, I need people to adjust the team manually based on the enemy pets they face and I'll only suggest pet swaps via script text messages. Just because I put a level pet in it :P I've found a lot of the times they die at the same time giving free xp but in case it doesn't I swap it in and out to rabbit (Put level pet in slot 2 and rabbit in slot 3):
change(#3) [self(#2).active]
ability(Dodge:312) [enemy.aura(Undead:242).exists]
ability(Great Sting:1966)
ability(Cleave:1273)
ability(Flurry:360)
change(next)

Leveling pet in space 3. When the Pyreclaw dies, swap leveling pet in, then swap to rabbit. With no cleaves around and this being an easy fight, your leveling pet will get a bump.

I hadn't thought of that before, This is a real problem. I can imagine it happening to someone, especially, as you say, someone with a restricted roster.
Of course, if someone slots the pets manually, they will know what they don't want damaged. But people who just copy Rematch strings without looking, or checking, could run into this.
Here's the problem: Rematch doesn't have a code for "Random pet that you don't intend to use before you can heal again." :)
I don't see a solution. Ultimately, it's up to the user to do even that little bit of thinking. At least they probably won't get caught by it twice!
