My experience has been that it works wonderfully as long as my pet doesn't go to sleep. If that happens, it's almost always a loss. Mostly a great strategy.

So, my rounds didn't quite look like this. Because Mana Surge now has varying damage, and the Nexus Whelp has a few breeds, my Mana Surge did not kill Star Tail until the third Mana Surge. However, I was able to survive Needlenose's first attack to Arcane Storm again. I again used all my Mana Surges on Needlenose, and had to Arcane Storm and Tail Sweep on Brite. That said, this still worked and I didn't need Chrominius because I didn't really encounter any crits. This strat might benefit more from a Priority set up, rather than specific moves expected to happen on specific rounds.

Excellent point. That's pretty much how my TD script functions anyway. I have edited the strat.

It didn't put me to sleep, but managed to defeat him with only 2 pets. Chrominius was just chilling in the back. :)

It happens rarely, but it does happen. More often than not, the sleep aspect will miss.

In most cases, you won't even need Chrominius, but if Moth Dust puts Nexus Whelpling to sleep on Turn 1, you'll need him to clean up. If you would prefer to restart if Sleep hits, replace the "change" command at the top of your TD Script with the following: quit [self.aura(Asleep:498).exists] Changelog 5/13/21: Posted some refinements to the TD script including a line to additionally cast "Arcane Storm" if "Toxic Fumes" is usable.
