It is RNG. It really all depend on how much damage your Iron Starlette does in the end. Otherwise Alpha will have 70 something HP left and because you go last your pet will get killed. I would recommend P/P Iron Starlette to do maximum damage.

(there's still a chance that you don't need your backup) Created and tested on 8.3 PTR |

This strategy does not experience any RNG it wouldn't on live servers. I'm flagging it as good to go for Shadowlands. :)
