I used Bloodgazer, Father Winter's Helper and Winter's Little Helper for my last pet. Just immediately swapped out and finished them all off with Ice Tomb, Call Blizzard, and Ice Lance. Even with the stuns, job got done.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong on this one. On turn 7, the Helpful Spirit isn't dead yet, and then on turn 8 my Father Winter's Helper dies. The only difference between my team and the listed team is that my last pet is a Crusher with 1587 HP, not 1600+. I am a pet battle noob, could that be why things are failing with my Father Winter's Helper?

Pet 1 Father Winter's Helper, green quality, 1375hp.255atp/255sp
Pet 2 Direbeak Hatchling, blue quality, 1546hp/289atp/260sp
Pet 3 Crusher, blue quality, 1587hp/297atp/244sp

I don't have any pet battle addons, I am just trying to get through these quests as best I can for the mounts.

It's likely because your Father Winter's Helper is green quality. When we create strategies on the site, we operate under the assumption that the pets used will be 25 and rare. Anything less than that and we cannot guarantee the strategy will play out as intended by the creator.

There are several people who investigate reports of problems with strategies on Xu-Fu's. There are designated Strategy Curators, and other regulars who read comments and are interested in the latest.

In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)

Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.

Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.

If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:

1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.

2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.

3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?

4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.

Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.

I carefully checked strategy and tdscript, you will fail if Ice Iandce and Call blizzard get a crit when you hit enemy first pet. enemy first pet die at third round thus enemy second pet deal to much deamage to your team, so your hatching cant beat enemy third pet.

This strategy posted in 2018 before Call blizzard and blizzard weather strengthen, that is why the strategy and tdscript didnt consider the crit.

Squirky wasn't the problem, the Direbeak & the Moth's abilities were. I've tweaked the strat, and it should be pretty solid now. If the moth doesn't sleep FWH, he'll finish the fight.
