As of Shadowlands pre-patch, Chrominius gets put to sleep almost every single cast.
The strat is still doable, I just had to heal a TON, and even then there was a lot of RNG and I had to do the whole fight twice.

Good idea. Could be, I suppose, but that still sounds small, even for character XP. I haven't looked at character XP from pet dailies recently, but last I looked, they fave full quest XP for the quest proper, and I would have thought Obalis should have high-enough level pets to give at least decent character XP from the battle.

Somehow, Clatter has way too much health left when he shows up so Chrominius gets beaten up by him. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Or just unlucky with the Arcane Explosion?

Did it with Lil' Bling 2 2 1, and Muar 1 1 1, Plushie. Ended up with 5 HP with the critter and exchanged life because it casts Apocalypse as a 1st spell.

didnt have an xt. so i used Lil Bling with extra plating, make it rain, and inflation in that order until lil bling dies. worked like a charm.

The original strat was written for "Lil' XT". The sie automatically provides "Landro's Lil' XT" as a substitute.

I tested both. Both worked fine for me. Angry doesn't give enough information for it to be worth investigating in any detail.

Unable to complete on Landro's Lil' XT, P/B. I died before my 3rd round of Tympanic, and Pyth was still standing., twice.. The only time XT lived, Chrominius wasn't outliving Spring. (I may have played it badly. I may have survived had Iused ancient blessing earlier, etc). Too much RNG.
