This works but it's extremely RNG dependent.

1. Dust bunny has to be hit with a 1 or 2 Slicing Wind. 3 will kill it.
2. Your second snail has to be hit by one 1 and one 1 or 2 Slicing Wind or it will die. Exception might stand for an HH snail but still low chance here.
3. Your third snail has to be hit by at most a 2 and a 2 Slicing Wind. Again, exception might stand for HH snails but I'm not sure it would have enough damage in these scenarios.

Assuming all three options for Slicing Wind are equally weighted (not sure they are, 2 seems to come up more often), this puts you in a really bad place. Now, I don't have a better strategy so this is what I went with as well but it's really really rough.

I hate that the strats for critters on gloamwing are so RNG dependent. I have done this about 30 times now, and everytime I am unlucky somewhere in the fight

The amount of luck you need with this fight and critters is just abysmal. Especially since SL pre-patch when you can't rely on stampede. It's pure rng. Will he crit with predatory strike? GG. Will he hit three times with wind? GG. Just keep trying until rng favors you and you win... (edited)

I couldn't get any of the above to work. First time worked from wowhead. I used Dust Bunny P/S, Scooter the Snail H/H, Shimmershell Snail H/P. Used same abilities shown below.

Here's what worked multiple times for me:

Dust bunny S/S 112
Scooter the Snail H/H 111
Silkbead Snail H/S 111

1. Smoke Bomb
2. Stampede (Bunny is killed - Snail comes in)
3. Ooze Touch - Dive - Acidic Goo (dies second Snail comes in)
4. Ooze Touch - Ooze Touch - win

This worked for me, and I just had to do it a few times until I got lucky with Gloamwing not critting. If a crit gets off on you, you're pretty much done.

Works with S/B Dust Bunny and H/P Shimmershell Snail. If you can not get acidic goo off on your second snail, replace your 1st ooze touch with the last snail with a acidic goo.

Darkmoon Hatchling (2,1,2); Dust Bunny (1,1,2); Black Lamb (2,1,2)

Pray to GMGesus 'cause without some luck you'll lose Dust Bunny in round 3 (restart) or your Darkmoon Hatchling will have 75 health, hit Gloaming for the last time and leave him with 14 HP to finish you off with!

This worked for me with a P/S Dust Bunny, Scooter the Snail, and Rapana Whelk H/B. Just had to Ooze Touch once more after the final Dive to finish off Gloamwing.

Agreed - need to add one more ooze touch after the dive. Worked just fine after tearing my hair out on strats listed under first alternative.

can we have some other ideas for critters as the snails do not work. I have tried hundreds of times now and the last snail always died with Gloamwing having 600 hp plus. I have exactly what it says above, even tried HB but nothing. Please some more ideas

Your pet speed will never matter against Gloamwing because of the Flying buff at the start and that snails are never going to be faster even after the Flying buff drops.

Also, for those looking for another H/H snail, currently the only snail with that breed is the Shimmershell Snail from Darkshore.

Rapana Welk H/B Slot 3 works too.
Beware, you need RNG luck with the enemy attacks. be patient, needed 10 tries
