I would strongly suggest that if you are blinded in round one of the fight to quit and restart as Booby-Trapped Presents will miss and foul up the strategy quite thoroughly. This script has an abort line for that situation.

Same as OP, all my guys were too low. So I used his options, however, w/o an actual "strategy" that can be filled in. Plus, I got very lucky with my demolish.

I started with Terky's lucky dance to improve hit %, then switched to Idol. First Demo missed (blinded), but 2 of next 3 hit, killing Atherton.

Brought Terky back in for another dance, but he was webbed and had to stick around. Stampede did a good deal of damage, but he died eventually before I could get him switched out. Prior to his death, I was able to get off another Dance.

I then brought Idol back in, and thanks to the Dance, I one-hit Bybee, did a stoneskin, then took out Jennings with two out of three hits. Crusher was backup, but not needed.

Soloed with Anub idol. dodge when he burrows and keep using demolish and stoneskin when blinded. 2nd and 3rd use dodge on cd, stoneskin when it runs out. If you have a bad run on demolish then Baby WInston's projector and tesla cannon will finish the fight. any human for third pet will do. Wolvar pup has snap trap. If it comes down to having to use a 3rd pet then dont' play the lottery that day.

Anyway, this didn't work for me like in the steps - my Rotten died a good 2-3 steps before he should have done, my Winter's died giving Jennings a good fight, and my random, an Imp, had to finish it off. [shrug]

This strat is great, though I think it could get shifted around a bit...RLH's Minefield feels like it would be sexy, and a good attack to use in the event that stupid Atherton blinds you...something to consider.

When I made this Atherton wasn't using the ability, so I imagine I'll have to make some adjustments now that they've 'fixed' it, heh. Thank you for the suggestion! When I get over there, (in Gnomer right now), I'll run through my strats and tweak them. :D

I wondered what we'd hope to get on the Horde-friendly side. THE MOTHERLODE!! was an excellent reply, but it doesn't match the "classic" vibe. Well, I can't see the Hordies identify with these early dungeons. :(

First try he mangled turn 1, then burrowed. I forfeited. 2nd try, he spammed Mangle for the 1st four turns, then did BLinding Poision.... Weirdness...
