The only way I got this to work is instead of using arcane blast from first pet - I used Cyclone, then life exchange. That chipped his HP away just enough to where it was a success after the twilight sisters did their turns!

I didn't have a second Twilight Clutch-Sister so I ended up using a Nether Faerie Dragon 211. Used Evanescence in place of Phase Shift and Arcane Blasted as a filler for the other spells. Surprisingly worked!
