certainly didn't work with my P/P Iron Starlette, plus my Level 1 pet was one-shotted. I think level 5 should be minimum.

Fair amount of RNG with Molaze. I was using P/S Iron Starlet, but speed doesn't matter. A breed with more health may make this more consistent. I had the Iron Starlet die with Molaze still at full health or making it all the way to Ticker. :-)
Anyway, I also wrote a script that adapts to the RNG a bit better than the steps in the strat, but still only has about a 50% success rate.

the Turn 4 Bring in your Level Pet works IF your pet have a health of over 167HP so i suggest rightklicking the team and change leveling Preferences to Minimum Health 168 :D

Doesn't work real well since the prepatch. Did it 2 times and my iron starlet was killed almost completely by the first pet. then Ikky gets owned by the 2nd and game over.

strat still works but the rng on the second enemy pet is pissing me off, 3 fights in a row i have no problem with him, and next 2-3 he just rng kills my iron starlette before i can use supercharge or the second attack, maybe the highest iron starlette breed is better to tank damages

With the forced pet swap I'm not sure a level one would survive, I was using a level 23 in my level slot.
