You won't use either of the other two, so you can use any pets there. I don't know of an alternative to Hydraling for this strategy, though.

Yup, looks likely. Your note came to late for me to check this cycle, but I'll confirm next day this is up. Pinch is like Deep Bite. I'd guess that P/S would work, too.

I checked on PTR for Shadowlands. It's close, but it was always close for the single pet. A string of unlucky crits against you might kill your Hydraling, but any second pet should be able to finish the battle in one or two hits. (editado)

I was able to sneak in two L24 pets with my Hydraling. I traded them in and out towards the end of the battle. Very, very little XP, but I still love fitting a leveling pet or two into every battle that I can.
