I wanted a strat for my leveling pet, I use Xu-Fu 1/2/2 + Runeforged servitor 2/2/2 + Level pet. XU first he should one shot first pet with prowl + moonfire. Then I swap in my level pet and swap out straight away. Then bring in Runeforged with supercharge + call lightening, windup until Runeforged is dead then mop up in the end with Xu-Fu. This has worked every time for me so far. Your level pet needs to take one hit, mine has been lv8+ and is fine with the swap in/out. (editado)

Did not work with my P/P Iron Starlette, unfortunately, and I don't have any of the other breeds to test with. When I removed the leveling pet it had the same result, however Milo only had 5 hp left for my third pet. If you have a P/P Iron Starlette, I'd suggest skipping Supercharge on Milo, and just Powerball > Wind-Up > Wind-Up.

That said, here are some streamlined scripts for the OP's strat:

This strat doesn't work 100% with a low speed Iron Starlette. I swapped I.S. for a Dibbler (HP) and it worked like a charm.

I've found it's quicker if you skip the howl on turn 14 and go straight to bite. The dragon racial is enough to finish this with 2 bite attacks still without the extra move

This worked well; only thing I did differently was when you bring in Chrominius again, Howl and then Surge, fight's over.

This has been working flawlessly with a P/P Starlette, however today tried 5 times, the Starlette always died at turn 10.

Works well, but turn 9 seems unnecessary and can be skipped in my experience.

The TD script didn't swap out my leveling pet then I realized that my leveling pet had a bite ability. If you modify the second line to

ability(Bite:110) [enemy(#3).active & self(Chrominius:1152).active]

it will fix the problem.

Sprite Darter Hatchling can almost solo this. Mine is S/S didnt check other breeds.
Arcane Blast, Evanescence, Moonfire
R1: Evanescence, R2: Moonfire, R3: Blast, R4&5: Blast (Bubeak dies)
R6&7 Blast, R8: Evanescence, R9&10 Blast (Tikka dies)
R11&12: Blast, R13, Evanescence, R14 Blast...

Failed first time for me with lvl 1 pet in second slot. Higher level would probably have worked. PP starlette didn't live to do second wind-up turn 11. Second try went right to wind-up in turn 9. Worked fine that way. Level one pet leveled to 8 without any bonuses. Probably just bad rng first try.

this script worked for me in the past but today it failed three times in a row bc milo (#3, the spider) kills my lvl pet with an attack when i try to swap it out again. very strange. did blizz change the mechanic of swapping in/out so that you always take a hit?

My Chrominius died at last bite, he didn't get to complete the move. I was lucky in that my Level Pet was 11, not sure what his health was going in but he was faster than Milo so he got his hit in first to win the fight and get all the XP! It's a good strategy but probably safer to use a higher leveling pet to work it.

Any of your using the script in the description should add this line to the top of it:

ability(Bite:110) [enemy.hp<517]

I added this because the script simply doesn't work for me. After howlbombing the beetle, Chrominus Howls again then swaps to the starlette who eventually dies in the second battle if the script is allowed to play out, then Chrominus comes in on the second or 3rd pet and dies before he gets to do anything.

Adding in that line makes it so Chrominus doesn't derp and swap out, and takes out the first enemy handily. The rest of the playback of that script works wonderfully, though at the final pet he Howls and then Bites, which is probably important but if you get crit during that time you lose, so its not a 100% thing.

I did this today. Chrominius was my levelling pet (17), I used Nether Faerie Dragon and Iron Starlette as my other pets. Worked perfectly first go for me.
