Worked with a Crimson Geode Uncommon lvl 22 H/P just fine. Skip to the Searing Scorchling part of the fight and proceed as planned per pet.

Worked great, thanks! If your Cinder Kitten's Scorched Earth doesn't finish it, just Immolate next round for the win.

This strat worked for me today, first attempt. (H/H Geode)

Kaizn rédigé le 2018-07-25 14:15:18

Autumnal Sproutlink (1*1)
Ominous Flame (222)
Fel Flame (121)

Couldnt say what the optimal rotation should be since it worked for me from first time. In general the speed of the top pet was quite key to the win so I started off with 1) Sons of the root (gets switched to Om.Flame the turn after) 2) Forboding Flame 3) Scorched earth (gets switched to fel flame) 4) Scorched earth 5) conflagrate (gets switched to the sproutlink) 6) finish off with lash. Hope that hints enough.

Used a P/P Crimson Geode (because I hunted hard for that fellow!) and the Searing Scorchling was swapped in first. Simply used the movesets listed for this strategy for Searing and when the Swap to Crimson Geode happened, used its same listed movesets. Cinder Kitten for the win. Nice strategy. Thank you.

Generally worthless with P/S H/S P/B O. Flame, C. Geode, and S. Scorchling. Seven tries with one as low as 100HP left on mob, but that was by far the best one. Speed might need to be higher than 291 for that first Scorched Earth to hit, and that might do it.

KodeX rédigé le 2018-04-15 20:53:06

Can replace Searing scorching with Ominous Flame

moonfanne rédigé le 2018-05-11 20:30:49

Arinei rédigé le 2018-03-24 00:58:59

Used an h/h crimson geode and subbed an ominous flame 1/2/1 for this strat. Worked great for the most part, but cinder kitten's scorched earth didn't quite take him out, and kitten died. Had to mop up with ominous flame.

Ghosty rédigé le 2018-01-05 07:35:04

Didn't have the above pets leveled so i used what i had available:
Jademist Dancer (ninja) 2-2-2
Ominous Flame 2-2-2
Molten Corgi 1-1-1

Geyser
Flame gets switched in > Scorched earth
Forboding curse
Spitfire Bolt
Corgi get switched in > Superbark
Puppies of the Flame
Superbark
Jademist Dancer gets switched in> Jade claw.

Adeliza rédigé le 2017-10-29 18:22:46

I didn't have the right breed of pet and found this on Wowhead (not my strat) worked first time for me;

Element - Jadefire Spirit(1-x-2), Ominous Flame(2-2-2), Fel Flame(2-2-1) - credits to Quizzus
Fade
Scorched Earth > Forboding Curse > Spitfire Bolt
Flame Breath > Scorched Earth > Conflagrate

Fel Flame H/P (121)
Crimson Geode H/S (122)
Ominous Flame P/S (121)

First round pass, Crimson Geode gets swapped in.
Elementium Bolt, followed by Amplify Magic. Then pass, Ominous Flame gets swapped in.
Scorched Earth then Conflagrate. Pass, Fel Flame gets swapped in.
Conflagrate, Scorched Earth.

Worked the second time. I believe you need one crit at some point to make this work. Your strategy is good, but not 100%. On the other hand what is 100% at Mac'Aree :D

Dubhglas rédigé le 2017-09-22 13:50:48

Succeeded with a budget team. Molten Corgi (1-x-1), Gray L25 Crimson Geode H/P (1-2-2), and Fel Flame H/S (2-2-1)
The key is the Corgi's bark which reduces enemy damage done. Basically I barked on first turn, this swapped in my Fel Flame. Used Scorched Earth and Conflagrate before he got killed and swapped to Crimson Geode. Elementium bolt then amplify magic. Killed, swapped to corgi, used bark, and then puppies of the flame to avoid the forced swap. Finished with a bark.

Anonymous rédigé le 2017-09-24 02:25:27

This actually worked very well. Recommended as an alt strat.

Emerson rédigé le 2017-11-26 20:55:26

This only worked for me if I used Superbark instead of Bark just before the Puppies at the end -- using plain Bark doesn't get anything anyway since Puppies will make the Corgi damage-immune for three rounds.

EyeSage rédigé le 2017-09-23 17:42:01

Searing Scorchling, has to be a Power breed to get enough damage without crits. I had to switch to Ominous Flame which is always a PS breed.

All I had was a H/H Fel Flame and a lvl21 green H/H Crimson Geode, and this still worked, just following the strat for each pet. (Scorched Earth > Fel Flame is swapped in > Conflagrate > Scorched Earth > Crimson Geode is swapped in > Elementium Bolt > Amplify Magic > Cinder Kitten is swapped in > Scorched Earth. Needed a Rend to finish it off, but still, no issue.)

Ogier rédigé le 2017-09-29 16:27:59

Mine swapped in myominos flame but still made it work after trying everything else. thank you.

Geki rédigé le 2017-09-23 21:03:20

Didn't go quite as advertised for me. When kitty was hit with the swap out scorchling came out instead of geode. I just skipped ahead to his part, then geode came in, did his part. Kitten finished him off with scorched earth.

Quintette rédigé le 2017-09-22 10:58:00

I pretty much messed up on all of the sequences in above and below strategies, but found out that - if you follow the rotations as described - it will work. I did this with a Cinder Kitten, Crimson Geode and Ominous Flame. Didn't look at HP and Flame got swapped in before Geode. Sticking to the move-sets, I got Blood down with 80% HP left on Fel Flame.

Yewfire rédigé le 2017-09-14 01:06:07

Worked first time. Thanks!

NOTE: Used ELEMENTIUM GEODE.

Quizzus rédigé le 2017-09-06 17:56:59

Sloted Jadefire Spirit, Ominous Flame, H/P Fel Flame
Jadefire spirit - Fade, Ominius Flame enters the battle (should be in slot 2)
Ominous Flame - Scorched Earth, Forboding Curse, Spitfire Bolt
Fel Flame - Flame Breath, Scorched Earth, Conflagrate
Jadefire Spirit - Jade Brearh if needed.
Works every time! :)

My Searing Scorchling and Crimson Geode were swapped due to the differences in health.

Following the strat for each pet as written did work, though.

Used the following:

Elementium Geoge
Ominous Flame
Crazy Carrot

won on the first try

Parsnip rédigé le 2017-09-09 08:48:44

I don't have cinder kitten or searing scorchling.
Managed it with
Spirit of Summer 1 2 1
crimson geode 1 2 2
Ominous flame 2 2 1

Pass - Swaps to Geode
Elementium Bolt
Amplify Magic
Think it swapped to spirit here
Scorched Earth
Conflag
swaps to flame
Scorched Earth
Any dmg ability to finish off

I used your strat with the fel flame, crimson geode, and ominous flame. Also worked well,

Don't have Cinder Kitten. After many tries and rng favor I won with
Blazehound 2,2,1 Spirit of Summer B/B 2,2,1 Magma Rageling P/P 1,1,2
Start with blazehound
Spirit of summer is forced in - Scorched Earth
Conflagrate
Magma Rageling is forced in - Magma Trap
Flame Jet (if the flame jet dot doesn't proc, you might want to start over)
Now this is where you need rng to bless you with a stun from magma trap.
Flamethrower as many times as you can until Magma Rageling dies
Frenzy
Puppies of the Flame

Lilianne rédigé le 2017-09-09 02:30:15

This worked well. The first time, blazehound was critted and died, so I tried it with puppies followed by frenzy and it still worked (I see the logic as to why you would frenzy first).

Swapped in Ominous Flame in lieu of Searing Scorchling since I didn't have it. Followed posted strat and worked first try.

I dont have Cinder Kitten I use Molten Corgi 2.1.1.

Sonoftheblue rédigé le 2017-09-06 11:56:20

Used Fel Flame H/S instead Searing Scorchling. Working as well. Just finished him with Cinder's Kitty Immolate

Matt rédigé le 2017-09-06 11:35:52

Didn't have Searing Scorchling and my Crimson Geode had less health than the alts for Scorchling. I used my H/S Crimson Geode and Alar (1,2,2). All same except when Alar is forced in I used Conflag-->Immolate-->Burn.

Came down to a matter of crits - on first attempt, I must've taken a big crit (or more than one) because we killed each other on the final turn and I didn't win. Second time, CBoA still had 13hp left after the final Scorched Earth, but it was no problem to kill it off with my Cinder Kitten because it was faster. So this is a solid strategy, but don't be surprised if it takes you more than one try.

I had a P/P Crimson Geode, I assume the author had one of the other 3 with a H stat. My Scorchling swapped in first, but I simply swapped turns 2-4 with 5-7 and it still worked fine.
