Minor tweaking of the rotation got it to work about as advertised: Snake priority should be crouch, blinding poison, then v. fang. This had first pet down in 8 turns, second handily and halfway thru the Fel Flame. Simply cast 2 Flame Breaths from the Pup and fight was finished.
Turn 2 should be Blinding Poison, and then use the above priority and this set up works well.

Not sure if this quest changed or not but on a different WQ I didn't get credit having my Bloodgazer in the third slot. Quest reads "Must be at your side before you begin the fight and must be the first to enter battle."
With it first didn't have any luck with this strat. Switched to my normal MPD, Darkmoon Zepplin strat and worked fine.

Just won with a Crysteline Broodling, and a Leyline Broodling. Both 1 1 1.

Confirmed, 2 broodlings work best. Had to use the Hatchling as well, but was smooth enough.

Confirmed at well. Used Crystalline Broodling, Thornclaw Broodling, and Bloodgazer as my setup, with the Broodlings following this priority list:

Brittle Webbing > Spiderling Swarm > Skitter

My Broodlings made it all the way to the Flickering Fel, which managed to eat the Conflagrate Before the Bloodgazer comes in. Mopping up was easy from there.

Okay!! Thanks, SigrahTheBeast! Your strategy worked for me very well. Used the broodlings with 2,2,2 following the priority you set out; then, when they were both dead, my falcosaur was able to finish off the Flickering Flame. I'd recommend that this strategy be pinned.

There is no way a snake will live as long as this guide thinks it will. I used Death Adder Hatchling since I didn't have the rose taipan (same moveset). Dies to Fido, but Cinder pup using crouch can mop him up and take out Seer's Eye. He will die to the fel flame, but Swarm + anything will kill it.

Yeah I don't think this strategy is accurate.
Using a S/S Rose Taipan Fido actually dies on turn 8 and I had ~90 hp left once seer's eye comes out which means it dies on that turn.

I just succeeded with a P/B Rose Taipan, but it was very close. The taipan died to the Seer's Eye so I had to finish that off with the pup. Pup made a good dent in the Flickering Fel, but my hatchling was still only barely able to eke out a win.
