A bit RNG based as crits can ruin the strategy for you. Other breeds might be doable but this is just what I ran it with. PS Mongoose is definitely optimal but the other two might have more flexibility with more health.

I needed 2 tries because my Emperor Crab got critted and died after two rounds. The first pet must be faster than the enemies 328 speed. Not only does Gnaw an additional 50% damage but the pet gets swapped out before doing damage at all in the first round and dies before doing damage in the last round if it is slower.

Worked with SS Mongoose. It died but my HH Emperor crab survived to do one last surge.

Worked for me. As note says. PS Mongoose is key. I used a PS Kuitan Mongoose first not expecting stats to get different with the same move set. When I used a PS Mongoose it was smooth sailing.
