The 21st of December marks the first day of winter, and that means the Snowy Owl will finally spawn in Winterspring!





This pet is a requirement to complete Kalimdor Safari, so if you're missing this one, head on over and catch that pet.

I pretty quickly found one just north of Everlook. Note that if you want to try to farm a Rare quality version, you may hunt a while.

Does this pet spawn by its self or in a group where I have to start a battle with say a Alpine Hare?

By itself. You obviously have a group of 3 pets to take on, but the snowy owl is the one you start the battle with. (edited)

Thank you for the reminder, I had totally forgotten about this pet (probably due to it only spawning during "winter").
