worked for me in SL, the sparkler can sometimes make it to quillino, thats ok, just keep following the strat after the sparkler dies.

I've been suffering from "don't have the pet" syndrome again, so I ended up using Ikky 1/1/1, Effervescent Glowfly 1/2/2 (B/B) and Shimmering Aquafly 2/1/2 (P/B). Ikky does just like all the other strats for him, black claw, flock, die. Then I brought in the Effervescent Glowfly against Quillino. I used the cocoon strike to block as many of the spectral strikes as possible, and used scratch otherwise. When my Glowfly died, I brought in my Shimmering Aquafly to quickly finish him off, and then move on to Fethyr. It just became a war of attrition then, as to which one of us could out-dodge and out-heal the other's damage. I will say it did come down to some rng, as to whether either one of us crit at the end. I would not recommend this as a go-to strategy if someone has the other pets, but if they don't have the others, or have a way to get them, it can work with some patience and a bit of luck.

yay! After 2 hours of trying different tactics, I tried this one. Well, with a waterfly in third slot, but its the same. It worked. I'm glad:):):):)

I used Sentinel's Companion (2,2,2) for the 3rd pet since I didn't have Dread Hatchling.

When Fethyr comes in:

Soul Rush
Ethereal
Dark Talon until Soul Rush is off CD.

Use Ethereal when Fethyr is in the air (Lift Off). Sentinel's Companion decimates Fethyr handily.

Turn 1: Black Claw
Turn 2: Flock

Ikky dies shortly after Flock.
Bring in Teroclaw Hatchling
Turn 1: Nature's Ward
Turn 2: Dodge
Turn 3: Alpha Strike
Turn 4: Alpha Strike
Turn 5: Alpha Strike
Turn 6: Nature's Ward
Turn 7: Alpha Strike
Turn 8: Dodge
Turn 9: Alpha Strike
Turn 10: Alpha Strike
Quillino should die, if not use Alpha Strike more.
Turn 1: Nature's Ward
Turn 2: Alpha Strike until Teroclaw dies.

Bring in Hatchling.
Turn 1: Call Darkness
Turn 2: Nocturnal Strike

I needed this very much. I was able to even get in a few levels on a high speed level 23 Shimmering Aquafly using Alpha Strike/Healing Stream/Lift Off. Being able to go first over Fethyr is key so you should try to be around 290+ speed.

great strat worked first time just a tip thou dont blindly use nocturnal strike after call darkness and look if he doesnt use lift of use peck instead then (or pass) and use nocturnal strike the turn after

Little RNG still, first turn is key that Ikky not hit hard. I used Gilnean Raven (1,2,1) as 3rd. Watch timing on Lift Off attack of 3rd. I needed Peck, then Nocturnal.

I replaced Dread Hatchling with Sentinel's Companion (1,2,2). Soulrush hits Fethyr like a truck and I just save Ethereal for when it uses Lift-Off. Made the last bird easy peasy.

Is it just me? For the Teroclaw Hatchling, I can't use Dodge and Nature's Ward in the same fight because they are on the same button.

This is a very old comment. Teroclaw Hatchling used to have them in separate slots back then, but they were relocated to the same slot in 8.0.1 (July 2018).

Teroclaw Hatchling was modified such that Dodge and Nature's Ward are now on the same row, so unfortunately the strategies above that require that are no longer relevant. I was able to beat Bredda with the following team suggested by Fantuska on wowhead:
Amber Moth (1, 1, 2)
Firewing (2, 1, 1)
Sentinel's Companion (2, 2, 2)
I think I got lucky the first time as I lost 2/3 tries with this team.

I couldn't get this to work with the Mei Lei Sparkler, but substituted the Teroclaw Hatchling 2,2,2 Starting out with Natures Ward, Dodge, Alpha Strike. Refresh Natures Ward at 1 and use Dodge on cool down fill in with Alpha Strike when the Teroclaw dies bring in your Firewing and follow the instructions from there.

I have to disagree. I used an S/S Shrine Fly, B/B Firewing, and a P/S Amber Moth for this strat. In spite of misskeying and using Scorched Earth instead of Deep Burn on Lil' Spirit Guide, and loosing track of Cocoon Strike and Moth Ball rotation on Fethyr, I was able to beat Bredda the first time through with life to spare on my moth. Maybe rng was with me on the Spectral Strike miss, but the troubles on this strategy were of my own carelessness, not a flaw in the strategy itself.

The RNG was smiling on you. With Quillino's Spectral Spine having a 50% chance to blind, and his Spectral Spike having a base 50% chance to hit, but 100% if you're blinded, that means only a net 25% chance for it to miss. That said, this fight is a lot easier if you put a Teroclaw Hatchling in the second slot. I've submitted the strategy, we'll see if it gets posted.

OK, so I just got what might be a repeatable strat, (with this one weird trick :) but I've had enough Bredda Flying for one night! I leave it for others to experiment with. It has worked for me three times in a row, which is as much as I can expect. It does not depend on Soulrush stuns, and it does not depend on crits. However, I can imagine people making a mistake in the timing of Teroclaw's Dodge when it's slower, and if Quillino crits, that could be a problem.

Turkey - I used S/S but any breed should do - with Peck, Squawk, Food Coma
Teroclaw with Claw, Dodge, Nature's Ward
Sentinel's Companion with Dark Talon, Soulrush, Ethereal

Food Coma

Swap to Teroclaw. Bredda swaps to Quillino
Dodge
Claw
Nature's Ward
Claw until Quillino dies, but use Dodge to avoid the third blind even though you only get one round. This is tricky; because you're slower, you must use it one round in advance, but it does work. It can go several ways because of RNG, but you want to kill Quillino and survive to eat Lil' Spirit Guide's Rot.

Lil' Spirit Guide comes in and kills Teroclaw with Rot

Bring in Turkey
Food Coma

Bredda swaps to Fethyr
Swap to Sentinel's Companion
Dark Talon
Ethereal to dodge the Lift-Off
Dark Talon until Fethyr dies

When Lil' Spirit Guide comes back in, use Ethereal to dodge Rot, Soulrush on cooldown, Dark Talon as a filler until Sentinel's Companion dies
Finish off with Turkey - Food Coma and spam Peck

I gave up on magic and just came back to test it. My original attempt included a Soulrush, which was a mistake, because if that stuns, thinks get complicated. I have now edited the strat above to use Dark Talon instead.

The Teroclaw/Quill matchup can go several different ways. The Teroclaw will eat the second Blind, but should dodge the third. That may leave the Teroclaw still alive after Lil' Spirit Guide's Rot, which is annoying, but you can just do a Claw or two so that you don't waste a turn swapping.

I note that, for those who have him, Brightpaw with Prowl and Arcane Rush also does very well against Lil' Spirit Guide.

So Bredda is up again today, and I went back with a clear head to see if I could solidify the Teroclaw part of the strat. No luck with that, I'm afraid. It works fine, but I can't specify an exact number of rounds to Claw because of crits and the blind. Just keep Clawing, never letting Nature's Ward fall off, and especially dodging the first blind your Dodge is back.

Gráinne, this worked perfectly for me the first time. Thanks! Time will tell if it's easily repeatable or subject to the whims of the RNG Boss. I used an H/S Highlands Turkey with 289 speed which was high enough to go first against the Spirit Guide. I had three rounds between the "Spirit Guide comes in" and my Teroclaw dying from his second Rot as I Dodged the first one that time around.

Tried main strategy over and over, but this one worked first time, thanks! this should replace or at least be added to an alternate strategy, its obvious it works not even sure RNG comes into it, apart from Teroclaw not using that dodge when Spectral Spine is on 1 to avoid the 3rd Blind. (also the slightest chance Spectral Spine misses the second time and doesn't get to the third)

You gotta start including the Breeds you're using in these strategies because without the specific breeds necessary, the strats are next to useless. My one and only Mei Li Sparkler is an H/B. It doesn't do enough damage before dying to get the Spirit Guide down to within the reach of my Firewing's Deep Burn. Not even close. My Firewing is an H/B also. Maybe this works if the Sparkler has a Power or Speed breed or if the Firewing is a Power breed, but without those breeds your strat is never gonna work. Which is okay, as long as you indicate needed breeds.

Hey there! I try to make the strategies independent of breeds, so every breed should work. Doesn't always work out sadly, and especially with Bredda (or Sir Galveston) it's sometimes super, super close or even impossible.
I do prefer to bring in other pets or strategies then however, instead of adding breed requirements. That's what I plan with this one as well :-)

But i have to say this one isent working for me. Im guessing i have the wrong breeds.
I used Gráinne strategie below instead on Quillino i didnt use dodge a second time.
Keep using claw till he dies then use dodge right after the spirit guides comes in to avoid Rot.
That finally did it for me.

Managed it even though spectral spine hit and my Firewing died, but I had a Fledgling Nether Ray in my last slot. I think a Sentinel's companion would do even better against Fethyr, because it has ethereal, but I hadn't leveled mine.

The RNG is real with Bredda!

I eventually got through it with a H/S Mei-Li Sparkler, used as in Xu-Fu's main strat above, a Sentinel's Companion with Ethereal to dodge the Blind, Soulrush and Dark Talon, and Dread Hatchling that used Anzu's Blessing while Fethyr went up for Lift-Off, Shadow Talon, then recovered with Consume Corpse and slugged it out to a win.

Then I came here to confirm that I wasn't being really stupid and missing an easy option. I am relieved. :) I need to do more work on this one, though.

P.S. I just tried again with two Teroclaws. Each Teroclaw roughly matches each of Bredda's first two pets, so the effect was the same - it came down to Dread Hatchling

I used Firefly (B/B - So it's base speed is higher than the undead) with 2/1/2 to take on the Lil Spirit, she dies on it's rez round.
Bring in Teroclaw Hatchling with 2/2/2. Nature's Ward, then Quill comes in. Dodge. Then cycle through hitting it and dodging when the cooldown is up. Teroclaw died with Quill at one hit (200ish HP) left.
Brought in Firewing (2/1/1). Used Scorched Earth. Then ate a hit from Lift-Off on the enemies final mob. Spammed it down with Deep Burn, used Healing Flame as needed. Was close. Fight ended with Firewing at 148, enemy dead to Scorched Earth dot.

Please note: Firewing/Blazing Firehawk is CRITICAL to the strat. This is the only fight you need it for (according to xu-fu's list), so it may seem pointless to level...just do it. /trust

Teroclaw hatchling (2,2,2) is way better than shrine fly/me li first. Teroclaw kills first pet, and removes some dependence on RNG on 2nd pet.

This is the hardest fight to date. I have completed 6 trainers with all breeds, and this one is *by far* the hardest I have attempted (though I haven't tried flummox...). I have 10 level 25 flyers, including chi-ji, S/S crow, gilnean raven, etc. - nothing worked. Just follow xu fu verbatim...this one is fucking hard.

Simply to confirm, definitely works, though you may need restart a few times - spectral spine has to /not/ blind you (50% chance) , which then means spectral strike has a 50% miss chance.. get both of those coin flips in your favour, and it's GG :D
As RNG gods seemed to like me, on my win I swapped turn 6's slicing wind to moth balls, and Fethyr died there :)
