Tideskipper with Tidal Wave became my sollution to dmg the moth as much as I could before its turn.

Ghostshell crab who died in first round against moth
Tidal wave until Tideskipper dies
Bubble against curse of doom, tounge lash otherwise.

*If your Mud Jumper dies before Delicate Moth is dead bring in your Mongoose Pup and Dive

Start with frog and go
Round 1 - Swarm of Flies
Round 2 - Tongue Lash
Round 3 - Cleansing Rain
Round 4+ - Tongue Lash until you kill Breezy Book
Against helpful spirit: Refresh swarm of flies when it disappears -> Cleansing rain on cd and Tongue lash
When you know the spirit is going to die (from swarm of flies) you swap to Emperor Crab and use Shell Shield
Against Delicate Moth just cast Surge. The Moth can't interrupt because of Surge and Shell Shield is more than enough to keep you alive until you kill it.

To combat this, instead of a random aquatic, use emerald turtle (guardian breed) with 1,1,1.
after swapping him in, use shell shield, then use emerald bite against the moth until the turtle dies. Bring the Ghostshell crab in, use spirit spikes, then bubble and you're done.

Kill him with bite then put shell shield up. When the moth comes in spam bite til your turtle is dead then I switched back to mud jumper use bubble mudslide then tongue lash kills him.

This was a but RNG but might help someone.
Start Otter: Dive, Gnaw til book dies.
Ghost enters, Dive, Gnaw until the undead round, Dive (rng here if dive isn't up). Ghost will cast doom & miss, then die.
Enter moth: will try to stun and miss, Otter completes dive. Screech if you can (I couldn't) Otter dies.
Bring in crab, bubble, spikes, grasp til crab dies.
Bring in mud, bubble, mudslide, lash, done

there are many similar mongoose pets, everything resembling an otter. But their skill options in the first spot may be changed, so be careful to always use "gnaw" as it's more damage, when you attack first.
and you can also start the fight with dive, to dodge the first curse of doom.

Can't say it's the best (ended with 23 hp on last pet!), but tbh I have no reason to level ghostshell crab outside of this achieve. Just offering alternatives - the pets I used are useful in many places.
