Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Huge thanks for the script WhyDaRumGone!

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Just for you I tested it out an HP IS and it didn't work* it had 26 health left after*. I exploded turn 4 (edited)

Nice! And thanks!
You're always doing work. Strat updated, I hope to make the script a little more robust using explode more intuitively given pet's health vs opponent health. (edited)

HP won't work as it still had 26 health left* :p well it can if you pass turn 5 BUT the level pet will take damage.

As for the script if I get time tonight I'll look into it :p

I was thinking an 'if' health conditional for breeds that would work and another 'if' for breeds that won't work.

So I don't believe there is a conditional check for hp.max=xxx I had to do it based on round. Now this wouldn't work IF your pet comes in with less health OR it is green because it will throw out the values:
-----------------------------------------------------------
if [round=4 & self.power=305]
use(282) [self.hp=1400 & enemy.hp<=740]
use(282) [self.hp=1546 & enemy.hp<=798]
use(282) [self.hp=1465 & enemy.hp<=766]
endif

if [round=4 & self.hp=1627]
use(282) [self.power=297 & enemy.hp<=829]
use(282) [self.power=244 & enemy.hp<=822]
use(282) [self.power=281 & enemy.hp<=827]
endif

if [round=4]
use(282) [self.power=341 & self.hp=1400 & enemy.hp<=744]
use(282) [self.power=276 & self.hp=1725 & enemy.hp<=866]
use(282) [self.power=284 & self.hp=1562 & enemy.hp<=801]
endif

use(Dark Fate:2432)
use(Black Claw:919)

use(Toxic Smoke:640) [!enemy.aura(Toxic Smoke:639).exists]
use(Explode:282) [enemy.hp<740]
standby

Very slick! This is probably at the fringe of my script writing at the moment. This would likely take me 3+ hours to figure out, test and type up.

Script updated, enormous, raging, thanks!

Yeah without the HP.max or canexplode+177 etc it made it a bit more difficult because it takes damage round 4 throwing out the health. I could have also just done it for the 2 that always work BUT I wanted it to allow for crits on the others :-p
Edit:If this was possible we wouldn't need the 2nd explode (and can probably change that to a [round=5] anyway)
Soo I had to calculate them individually. I grouped them with common variables where I could to make it a little neater but probably could have just done the 9 lines instead.

Edit2: I only tested 6 times (didn't wait for a crit on TS to test non 4 round breeds because I had guild M+ healer duties) but it works for HP (twice), HB Dibbler, PP, P/S and HP Iron Starlette (edited)
